Most people want to be happy, but few know how to find happiness. Money and success alone can't bring lasing happiness. Aristotle, a Greek thinker, said, "Happiness depends on ourselves. "In other words, we make our own happiness. Here are a few suggestions about how to be happy. 

The first secret of happiness is to enjoy the simple things in life. Too often, we spend too much time thinking about the future, such as getting into college or getting a good job. You should enjoy life's simple happiness, such as reading a good book, listening to your favourite music, or spending time with close friends. People who have several close friends often live happier and healthier lives. 

Another secret of happiness is to be active. Many people go dancing or play sports. People can forget about their problems and only think about the activities. 

Finally, many people find happiness in helping others. Studies show that people feel good when they spend their time helping others. If you want to feel happy, do good things for someone. You can help a friend with his or her studies, clean up the city parks or help your mother do some housework. 

I want to learn to swim. But I am afraid of water?

I didn't know   this problem. Finally, my mother gave me a few pieces of advice.

Where did you go on vacation? For Yuan Jun, he went to Mount Huangshan on vacationhis classmates. 

On the morning of the first day, Yuan's parents went with him to the train station to say goodbye. Yuan told them not to worry about (something). It took Yuan about two hours (arrive) at the destination(目的地) by train. 

In the evening, Yuan and his classmates had  good time singing, dancing and talking in the hotel. They had a vacation by themselves for the first time, but nobody(seem) to be homesick(想家的). 

The next day, all the children got up very early to climb the mountain. Along the way, they enjoyed the Sea of Clouds,(wonder) pines and special rocks. They had lunch and took a lot of (photo) at the top of the mountain. They met a lot monkeys when they went down the mountain. They were so lovely. At about5:00 p. m. , they got to the hotel. They were very tired  happy. 

It was a (real) great vacation for Yuan. He hopes to visit there again. 

Last summer, I went on a trip to an (古老) town with a guide.(在······期间) the day, we visited many interesting places. 

First, we arrived at the central (广场). There were lots of people selling unique handicrafts. I (容易) found a beautiful (艺术作品) to buy as a souvenir(纪念品). 

At (中午), we felt a bit tired. The guide took us to a local restaurant. But unfortunately, after lunch, I started to feel (生病), perhaps because of the change in food. 

However, the guide was very helpful. He quickly found a pharmacy and got some medicine for me. After taking the medicine, I (感觉) much better. Then we went on our exploration. 

This trip,(尽管) with a small period(一段时间) of being sick, was still unforgettable. It let me (体验) the beauty of the town and the kindness of the guide. 

Many foreigners may want to travel to China. But when is the best time to visit some cities in China? Here is some advice. 

The best time to visit Beijing is in September or October because it's cool in these months. There are many old and great places to visit, such as the Great Wall, the Summer Palace and the Palace Museum. 

Do you want to feel cool in the hot summer? Please go to Xining. And the best time to visit it is in July or August. The weather is pretty cool in summer. You may enjoy special dance and music and taste good food. But you might need a coat or a sweater because it's cold in the evening. 

In most places of China, it's usually cold in winter. But Hainan Island is different. In winter, it's always warm there. So winter is the best time to visit Sanya. You'll probably enjoy swimming, diving or walking on the beach. Of course, you may taste all kinds of fruits and seafood. That's great!
