Healthy Weight Plan for Everyone

In our country, the government has a three-year plan called   " Weight Management（体重管理）Year". This program wants to help people understand the importance of having a healthy weight. 

In some big cities like Beijing and Shanghai, many children and adults weigh too heavy. Becoming much fatter is bad for people. Firstly, it makes a difference on what people look like. Secondly, it causes serious health problems like heart problems. Thirdly, It can also make people feel sad or worried. So, weight management has become an important part of many people's lives. 

The plan includes fun activities like sports games and healthy eating classes. Schools can teach students about good food and exercise. Everyone should eat more fruits and vegetables, play sports often, and sleep well. Staying happy is important too. If we work together, we can make our community healthier. 

The government hopes that everyone can join the plan to make our country stronger. Let's start eating well, moving more, and taking care of our bodies!

Lisa gets a good skateboarder from her mom. She is thirsty for  gift. She wants to learn how to skate. 

Lisa  her new skateboard to the skate park. Everything goes well. Lisa tries a trick. "Cool!" But the girl goes faster and loses . She falls off her skateboard!

Students around the world wear uniforms to school. Different schools have different uniforms. 

In England

School dress code（着装规范）is very strict in England. The very first uniform was blue. They believed this color could help teach kids how to be calm（沉着的）. Boys wear white shirts, long grey or black trousers, sweaters, school ties and black shoes. Girls have the same clothes as boys. But they can wear skirts or school dresses in summer. 

In Australia

Australia learned many things from England. Their school uniforms look like the English ones very much, but they are more open and light. Students also wear hats in the very hot weather. 

In Singapore

In Singapore, almost all the students need to wear uniforms. The colors are different from school to school. The uniforms for boys are shorts or long trousers, with white shirts, while girls wear white blouses and blue or black skirts. 

Tim and Clark are Mrs. Carpenter's friends. One Tuesday after school, Tim and Clark run past Mrs. Carpenter's house. The old woman 1 watches them with a smile.

Fire is common nowadays! No one knows exactly how or when our ancestors first used and learned to control it, but it clearly changed the world.

Experts think that over 400.000 years ago, early humans might have seen lightening start a first or perhaps someone rubbed(摩擦) two rocks together and the sparks that flew out caused grass lo start bumming, Either way, fire quickly became very important to human life.

With fire, humans could explore colder places without being limited by the need for warmth. Fire helped early humans survive (生存) by making it cashier to live in difficult environment. Our bodies gradually changed, losing their thick hair because fire can necessarily keep us warm. This change allowed us to hunt during the hotlist parts of the day when animals were resting and cashier to catch.

Fire also had a deep influence on our social lives. The light that fire provided made people able to slay up later, giving them time to make tools, clothing, and other necessities. I also provided a chance for sharing stories and becoming closer. Before fire, people slept high in trees, but the warmth of the fire drew them together in small groups, which strengthen their relationships.

When meal was accidentally dropped into a fire, humans discovered cooking, Cooked food softer and gives us more nutrients(营养), which helped our ancestors grow taller and develop bigger brains, Cooked food is softer, so peoples teeth became smaller. People became bigger and began living longer.

Through history, people have found many ways to use fire. Artists would use burnt sticks to draw on cave walls, potters found that healing clay made pols more lusting, Bren today, farmers continue to use fire to clear fields and prepare the land for planting.

In the late 1700s, people discovered that boiling water produced steam, which was later used to power steam engines. This led to the development of steamships and steam trains, developing transportation.
