Last weekend, my family did a big cleaning for the coming May Day. 

Baduanjin Exercise for Children is a new book for children to learn to do exercise. It is the very first of its kind. The book tells about a traditional  exercise. Ba means eight, duan means piece, and ji n means something beautiful like silk. There are  movements（动作）. People are like beautiful silk when they' re doing the sport. 

Baduanjin is easy to learn, and it doesn't take much space or  . After doing Baduanjin, we will feel and peaceful. It's a healthy sport for both men women, young and old.  makes thin people strong and fat people thin. 

To meet the needs and tastes of young learners, the writer of the book has made some changes to the traditional exercise. The book is  of simple words. It explains every movement and also tells the health knowledge about  sports. And there is historical information and interesting stories about the sport in the book.

Now the book in English and Russian appears. It becomes popular in western countries. 

Do you know that we also do communication with ourselves from time to time? Imagine this: Your mom asks you what you would like for breakfast. Many foods come to your mind:pancakes, bread, porridge . . . Until you tell your mom what you want to eat, you are communicating with yourself. 

We call it intrapersonal communication（自我沟通）. This can be talking, reading, writing, thinking to ourselves, understanding and remembering something. 

Intrapersonal communication plays a big role in our lives. Good intrapersonal communication allows you to understand yourself better. When you' re comfortable with who you are, and you know what you want, you can get on with yourself better. Also, intrapersonal communication helps you to keep an eye on your thoughts and feelings. When you find that your mind is full of negative thoughts and feelings, and they make you sad, you will try to cheer up and get rid of（摆脱）these unhappy thoughts and feelings. 

What's more, intrapersonal communication helps with your communication with others. Understanding your thoughts and feelings better allows you to put yourself in others' shoes when you talk to or listen to them. Then, you can understand and get on with them better. 

The Beijing Hearing Dog Association has a plan. They plan to choose some stray dogs（流浪狗） and train them. Then the dogs can help the old and the deaf. 

They will choose young dogs, because it's easier to train them. 

Twenty-four volunteers will join the training. They all have some experience of keeping dogs and they all love dogs. They will learn a special language at first from the coach（教练）and they teach the dogs. This first period training will take 180 days. Then the better-performed dogs will have the second training. They will learn to understand different sounds, such as knocking on a door and water boiling. And the dogs will live with the deaf or the old for 30days. Then the whole training is finished. 

Some people think the plan won't work, because it will cost a lot of money. But some people like the plan and they would like to be the volunteers. 

Jack was a student of Grade 8. He got home at 4:30 p. m. every day. He usually 1 some milk and then did his homework.
