Hi, my name is Rebecca and I am your new pen pal (笔友). I'm twelve years old, and I live in Barcelona, Spain. I am in the seventh grade year at Saint Michael School. On weekdays, I get up at 6 o'clock. School starts at 7:30 in the morning. I have my lunch at school and I usually go home around 3:30 in the afternoon. I am good at math. I also like history and geography, but my favorite subject is science. I like playing basketball and soccer. I also play tennis and I like swimming. On weekends, I go to the cinema with my friends. We like action movies (动作电影). ①I usually go shopping with my parents on Sundays.

Anna's weekends are usually free. But she  a busy weekend last week. 

She went to visit  grandmother with her parents on Saturday. Anna's grandmother lives  the countryside. There  a big farm. Anna helped her grandmother  the animals on the farm on Saturday morning. In the afternoon, she milked the  with her parents. Then her grandma cooked a  dinner for them. And on Saturday night, they sat together  talked with each other. Next morning, she  back home. On  afternoon, she did her homework and then went to the movies. 

What a great weekend!

We had a terrible school trip last week. Some students were late. Then we waited half an hour for the school bus, but it didn't arrive. In the end, our teacher took us to take the subway. It took over an hour. When we arrived at the zoo, we were all tired and hungry. We wanted to see dolphins (海豚), but there weren't any. There were some really smart seals (海豹), but we didn't see the show because we arrived too late. We forgot to take our cameras, so we didn't take any photos. Then it started to rain, and no one had an umbrella. We didn't see many animals because of the rain. So we went for lunch. We ate hamburgers. My friends also had some ice-cream. But I didn't have any, because I don't like it. I wanted French fries, but there weren't any in the shop. They were sold out! Finally we went back to school. We were wet and tired. I didn't enjoy my school trip at all.

Thank you for your last e-mail. I'm very happy here. Let me tell you a piece of good news. This term, we have a new English teacher. Her name is Jane. She is beautiful. She is thin and of medium height. She has long blonde hair and big blue eyes. She likes wearing a red skirt and a pair of black shoes. Her voice is beautiful, too. She is good at teaching and her classes are very interesting. We all like listening to her. She is good at singing and dancing. She also likes sports, such as volleyball, basketball and ping-pong, and she likes tennis best. Oh, she has an 1l-year-old daughter, Helen. She can speak Chinese well. We are in the same class. Jane is friendly to us and we all like her very much. What does your English teacher look like?
