The finals of the 2024 Shaolin Games ended on Sunday. After a two-day competition at the文章音频historic Shaolin Temple in Henan Province, the top 10 competitors were named"Shaolin Kung FuStars". 

The finals were the peak of a year-long process. Over 20, 000 Shaolin Kung Fu practitioners from 101 countries and regions participated. Finally, 124 from 47 countries and regions, along with 20 Chinese masters, competed in Dengfeng, Henan. The event was organized by the Shaolin Temple. 

With a history of over 1, 500 years, Shaolin Kung Fu is a famous symbol of Chinese culture and was listed as a national intangible heritage in 2006. The abbot of the ShaolinTemple stressed the role of the finals in cultural exchange. "The competition unites people from different places, all passionate about Shaolin Kung Fu, " he said. 

The competition attracted international participants such as 32-year-old Markus Hanisch from Italy.  "The Shaolin Games play a crucial role in bridging cultures and building connections between countries, " Hanisch said. 

Wara Lucero, a competitor from Bolivia, highlighted the personal growth brought about by Shaolin Kung Fu training. "My father always says that the greatest warrior is the one who overcomes challenges, even in sickness, fatigue, or pain, " she said. 

Liu, a teacher at the Shaolin Temple Culture Center in Texas, brought three students, all of whom ranked in the top 20 among the 124 competitors. Born in Shangqiu, Henan, Liu grew up training at a Kung Fu school. When he was 19, while touring the US with Shaolin monks, he witnessed the interest in Shaolin Kung Fu in Texas and decided to join the Shaolin TempleCulture Center to further promote martial arts. "Through Kung Fu, the American people gain a deeper understanding of various aspects of traditional Chinese culture. In turn, this helps spread Shaolin culture to a wider audience, " Liu said. 公众号: 自我提升之家(微信xb20951)

Suzhou in Jiangsu Province stated that from August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2027, 文章音频individuals who purchase a house in the city and utilize it as their residence can apply for household registration. Experts believe this move will benefit the property market and attract new residents.

Buyers without existing houses or with only one house listed for sale in the residential area can be classified as first-home buyers when applying for a mortgage. Jin, an analyst from the Suzhou branch of the China Index Academy, mentioned that the recent measures are expected to enhance housing demand and stimulate the real estate market. Suzhou's GDP reached nearly2. 47 trillion yuan in 2023, with a 4. 6 percent growth from the previous year. By the end of last year, the city's permanent population was 12. 95 million. 

However, not everyone holds the same opinion. Fan, a Suzhou bank employee, said that while these policies aim to drive consumption and stabilize investment, their impact could be limited. Long-term population growth and increased investment rely on economic development.  

In May, 2, 038 new homes were sold in Suzhou, an 8. 3 percent decrease compared to April. Meanwhile, 4, 962 second-hand homes changed hands, a 24 percent decline from the previous month. 

Several other Chinese cities have implemented similar measures to boost housing demand by easing household registration policies. For instance, Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province and Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, did so in May. Shenyang in Liaoning Province and Foshan in Guangdong Province also took similar actions in the same month. Other cities likeWuhan, Kunming, Dalian, Zhengzhou, and Shijiazhuang have similar policies.

China's Chang'e-6 was totally successful.  

The China National Space Administration(CNSA) said that after necessary ground handling, the Chang'e-6 return capsule would be flown to Beijing. The lunar samples would be passed to the ground application system. Then, they would be stored and studied. 

After the Chang' e-6 mission, the Queqiao-2 relay satellite will do scientific exploration. It will use its tools to gather data from the moon and deep space. 

People all over the world have been paying attention to the 53-day trip of Chang'e-6.  

An astronomer from the US, Jonathan McDowell, said the success shows that China's space engineers are very good at hard missions. 

Professor Kang said the mission has made breakthroughs in key technologies. It sets a new record for China and has a big effect on global aerospace. The lunar soil from the far side is very valuable for research. 

This year is the 20th anniversary of China's lunar exploration. The Foreign Ministry spokesperson said China is ready to work with international partners. 

The Chang'e-6 mission carried four international payloads. Pakistan's CubeSat sent back the first pictures. The European Space Agency's analyzer finished detections. Space observers think the Chang' e-6 mission will create more cooperation chances between China and Western countries. 

But there are also challenges. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson congratulated China but also talked about competition. "Even though there is competition between the US and China, the two countries will have to find a way to coexist on and around the moon, " Nelson said. 

In the mixed 4×100m relay race, Chinese swimming team won the silver medal and broke the Asian record. 

The Chinese team had a strong lineup including Xu Jiayu, Zhang Yufei, Yang Junxuan. 

They worked as a team, did their best in the pool, and finally won the silver medal with a time of 3:37. 55, setting a new Asian record.
