Yandang Mountain is widely known as the "No.1 Mountain in Southeast China". It stands proudly in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. Rising to about 1,057 meters above sea level, it is a very tall and great mountain. Its name has an interesting origin (起源). It comes from a dried-up lake at the very top of the mountain. This lake is called Yanhu Lake, or Goose Lake. When autumn arrives, wild geese fly here and rest comfortably in the reeds (芦苇) around the lake. 

The mountain is like a big treasure box full of interesting natural sights. Ling Feng is one of the most well-known parts. In this area, there are countless strange peaks and steep cliffs (陡峭的悬崖). They are really amazing. From different angles, they look like different things. Take Hezhang Peak for example. This 270-meter-high peak can look like a pair of hands reaching out, or a slim young lady in a beautiful qipao, or even two people holding each other closely. 

Another well-known sight is Sanzhepu, or Three-Terraced Falls. The falls are divided into three levels by strong rock cliffs. These waterfalls are some of the most special and beautiful ones on the whole mountain. 

Over the past hundreds of years, many temples have been carefully built on the mountain. And many famous artists have come here and left their wonderful works. These works include beautiful stone sculptures (雕塑), great calligraphic tablets and colourful paintings on the rocks. 

There are a lot of old towns in China. If you want to have a trip in them, Hongcun and Xidi are two good c . The villages have a h of more than 900 years. Many visitors go there to enjoy the beauty of n and well-kept Anhui style buildings. The two villages are only about 40 kilometres away from Mount Huang, so you can visit b of them at the same time. 

Hongcun is probably the most famous village in Anhui. All the old houses in Hongcun usually look the same: the main hall of each house r in the middle, with two side halls on its two sides; stairs are in the main hall and there is always a small window on the roof to help b more light into the house. Visitors can travel around the village, chat with local people, listen to old stories and t local food. 

When you walk a the stone roads in Xidi, you will feel like passing through old time and space. Many people also enjoy watching sunrise or s. there and they can always take pictures at that time. 

If you don't know w to travel next time, come to Hongcun and Xidi. They won't let you feel bored!

Wudang Mountain, in the northwest of Hubei Province, is perhaps the best known of China's Taoist (道教) holy mountains. It was listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1994. 

Wudang Mountain has many enjoyable places, covering an area of about 300 square kilometers. . It's also famous for its beautiful ancient buildings, traditional Taoist culture and Wudang kung fu. 

. In spring, the area is filled with flowers; in summer, the mist (薄雾) appears; in autumn, the oranges turn yellow; in winter, heavy snow covers the mountain like a white blanket. 

. About 600 of the 1,800 herbs (药草) recorded in Compendium of Materia Medica(《本草纲目》) written by Li Shizhen can be found in the area. For this reason, the mountain is also known as a natural drugstore (药房). Tianzhu Peak (峰), the main peak of Wudang Mountain, is 1,612 meters high. Around Tianzhu Peak are 72 peaks, 36 rocky cliffs, 24 streams, 3 pools and 10 lakes. 

, but reached its peak during the Ming Dynasty, when Emperor Zhu Di sent about 300,000 workers in 1412 who spent 12 years completing the complex.

The name "Batai" means "Eight Terraces" because it looks like it has eight huge flat steps going up. It's very tall (over 2,200 meters). Because it's so high, it's one of the first places in Sichuan to see the sunrise each morning. Watching the sun come up from the top is amazing. 

For nature lovers, Batai Mountain is a good place to visit. You can see fantastic deep valleys, interesting rock shapes, and big forests all around. On the fine mornings, there are thick (厚的) clouds covering the land below, making the mountain peaks look like islands in a huge white sea. And if you're brave enough, you can even walk on special paths (道路) with glass parts high above the ground—it feels just like walking in the sky.

Batai Mountain is a Natural Geopark (地质公园) protected by the government. It's a very important and beautiful place. Whether you like hiking, taking amazing pictures, or just seeing cool natural sights, Batai Mountain is an unforgettable place to visit. It's Dazhou's own natural wonder. 

Last summer holiday, I went to Xi'an with my family. We took part in a summer camp. We went to Xi'an with 1 Americans who were in the summer camp too. So I not only enjoyed my trip, but also 2 five new friends.
