Welcome to Phillip Island Nature Parks and the Penguin Parade. You will see  (small) penguins in the world appearing from the ocean and crossing the beach to their home in line. It's  amazing and natural experience. Remember that the little penguins are wild. You are a visitor to  (they) home.

Graceland

The Museum of PopCulture(MoPop)

The British Museum is very serious. So it is quiet there. Like other museums, there are also some rules and you'd better   them. You mustn't make any noise or touch the exhibits, such as the  of animals. It's no good   photos in the British Museum, Maybe the workers will punish you for that, It's a good idea to go to the museum shop to buy postcards.   to the museum is free, so you can visit it as often as you like.

Trips to museums are part of many children's education in the United States. The American Museums say museums receive about 55 million visits each year from students in school groups. 

Many US school systems are most about students performing well on maths and science tests. Because of this, parents and teachers might not see the value of art-related museum field trips. 

This is where Jay Greene comes in. He and his research team are studying how attending cultural events help a student's education. Greene told people that his team wanted to learn how a single trip to an art museum affected(影响) a student. For this study, he and his team looked at 11, 000students. They found that students who visited an art museum are more empathetic(同感的), and also learned a lot about the art they saw and developed stronger critical(批判的) thinking skills about art. Mr Greene explained that after one visit to the art museum, students improved about8% on tolerance(宽容) and empathy. 

Mr Greene's researchers also examined going to a live theatre performance can affect students. About 1, 500 students from 40 schools took part in the study. Mr Greene said his team found that students who saw a live performance experienced improvement in tolerance and empathy. 

A different group of students watched a movie version of the same play. But they did not experience the same results as those who went to the live theatre. The students who saw the live performance learnt the story and related vocabulary better than those who watched the movie version. 

Mr Greene's team is now carrying out longer-term studies. Their most surprising result is that they saw improvements in maths and reading test score performance for students after they went on field trips. They think that has to do with improving their motivation(积极性) in studying and motivation is a very important part of success in school. Students' behaviours in school also refined. Mr Greene thinks part of that may be because they were doing something fun in school.
