The game, Black Myth: Wukong, an action role-playing game developed by Game Science, was inspired by the rich Chinese folk stories and the 16th-century novel Journey to the West (西游记), one of the four great classic novels of China. Reporters visiting in August found that many forest areas now show clear signs of damage from all the people walking through them. Shenzhen is the first city in the world where all buses run on electricity. Since 2023, all 16, 000 buses in the city use electricity instead of diesel (柴油). This big change helps make the air cleaner and reduces noise. Each electric bus can cut about 50 tons of dirty air each year, which is very good for our environment. 

The government spent over 3 billion yuan on this clean energy project. Electric buses cost more to buy (about 300, 000 yuan extra each), but they save money later because electricity is cheaper than diesel. Drivers say these buses are quieter and easier to drive. Many passengers also say the rides are smoother than before. 

The city built 510 special stations with 8, 000 places to charge (充电) the buses. About 100 of these stations use sun power to make the electricity, making them even cleaner. The buses can go 250km after charging for just 2 hours - enough for a whole day's work. At night, workers charge all the buses so they're ready for the next day. 

"The air is much better now, " says Li Wei, a student who takes Bus 234 every day. "I don't smell the bad bus smoke anymore. " Many people like taking photos of the new buses because they look modern and clean. Some tourists even ride them just to see how they work. 

Now, other big cities like Beijing and Shanghai are also starting to use electric buses. The United Nations says Shenzhen's buses are "a good example for all cities" to help protect our environment. Many countries are learning from Shenzhen's success.
