6、From March to November each year, Huang Yahui and her team live outdoors, carrying cameras and notebooks. They travel through forests, mountains, and highlands in Xinjiang to do research.
Huang's love for nature began as a child, and her passion (热情) for butterflies grew as she got older. In 2011, she joined a research team led by Professor Ma Ming from the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography as a volunteer. hang like on window celebration write good arrive because main
During Chinese New Year, hanging Spring Festival couplets, or Chunlian, is a special tradition. The couplets are pairs of poetic lines that are on red paper, and they're put up on both sides of the door of the house. Since ancient China, this traditional has carried people's wishes for good luck, happiness, health and success in the coming year.
The couplets are usually put up New Year's Eve, following a certain order: the top line (Shanglian), the bottom line (Xialian), and a horizontal scroll (Hengpi) above the door.
Besides putting up the couplets, people also like to put up red paper with the character Fu on the and the doors. The Chinese character Fu means luck. The fun part is that people like the character upside down. The reason is that in Chinese, the word for "upside-down" (倒,dào) sounds the word for "to arrive" (到,dào). So an upside-down "Fu" means that good luck is arriving or has at the house.
Nowadays, many people use printed couplets they're easy to find and look pretty. But the idea remains the same: to bring good luck and start the new year in a positive way. Hanging Spring Festival couplets is a beautiful way to celebrate Chinese New Year.
