Changes in My Home

My family lived in a small, old house when I was a child. There were only two bedrooms for my parents, my sister and me. We shared a small kitchen and a bathroom. The house was built in the 1980s, and it was often cold in winter because the windows were broken.

In 2018, my parents decided to buy a new apartment. It is in a modern building with 15 floors. Our apartment has three bedrooms, a big living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms. There is also a balcony where we can grow flowers. The building has a gym, a swimming pool and a playground for kids. Now, we live a more comfortable life.

I love my new home. It not only gives us more space but also brings us more happiness. Every weekend, we have family parties in the living room. We watch movies, eat delicious food and talk about our lives. This is my sweet home.

Changes in My Eating Habits

Last weekend, my family had a big dinner to celebrate my grandma's 70th birthday. My mom and aunt spent all morning  (cook) in the kitchen. They made many of grandma's favorite dishes, including braised pork and steamed fish.

While they were cooking, I helped  (set) the table. I put out the plates, bowls,  (chopstick) and spoons carefully. Then I added some fresh flowers to the center of the table to make it look nicer.
