About 97% of water on the earth is in the sea. The sea can provide so many things for humans(人类). 

The sea is important for transportation. We can go traveling by sea. And we can ship goods(货物) by sea.

How to Save Water

Hello, I am Kangkang. We all need water. Water is so important for us and we should save water. 

‌The Importance of Clean Water‌

Water is vital for life, but pollution threatens its safety. Many rivers are polluted by chemicals from factories and waste from cities. This pollution harms fish and plants in rivers. For example, at the mouth of a river, where fresh water meets the sea, pollution can destroy ecosystems. To protect water, governments need strict laws to control factory waste, and people should avoid littering in rivers‌ 

‌Saving Water in Daily Life‌

Many people waste water without realizing it. For instance, leaving the tap running while brushing teeth uses about 6 liters of water per minute. Taking shorter showers and fixing dripping taps can save thousands of liters yearly. Another way is to reuse water. For example, water from washing vegetables can be collected for plants. 

Governments also need to act. Building systems to recycle wastewater and making laws to limit factory pollution are effective solutions. In some countries, families even get rewards for reducing water use. 

‌Water Cycle and Life‌

Water is essential for all living things. It moves in a cycle called the water cycle, which includes evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. When the sun heats water in oceans, lakes, or rivers, it evaporates and becomes water vapor. This vapor rises, cools down, and forms clouds (condensation). Finally, the water falls back to the Earth as rain or snow (precipitation). Without this cycle, life on Earth would not exist‌. 

Humans play a role in this cycle too. For example, when we use too much water for farming or industry, it can affect the balance of groundwater. Pollution from factories may also harm the quality of rainwater. To protect the water cycle, we should reduce waste and avoid pouring chemicals into rivers.
