Louis Armstrong, one of the greatest jazz musicians in history, was born in New Orleans in 

1901.  He grew up in a poor neighborhood, but he fell in love with music at a young age.  When he was 11, he got into trouble and was sent to a boys' home.  There, he learned to play the trumpet (小号) and discovered his talent. 

After leaving the home, Armstrong started playing in local bands.  He quickly became famous for his unique style—his trumpet playing was full of energy, and he could sing with a rough, warm voice.  In the 1920s, he made his first recordings, which made him known all over the United States.

I joined a jazz music camp with my friends last summer.

Last month, our school held a basketball league. My team, the Tigers, was excited to join. In our first match, we played against the Lions. We were nervous and didn't communicate well. We lost the game by 10 points. 

After the loss, our coach talked to us. He said, "Teamwork is the key. You need to pass the ball and support each other. " We took his advice and practiced harder every day. We learned to call out plays and help each other on the court. 

In our next match, we played against the Eagles. This time, we worked together perfectly. I passed the ball to my teammate, and he scored three baskets in a row. We won the game by 8 points. 

By the end of the league, we made it to the final. We played against the Lions again. This time, we didn't feel nervous. We passed the ball quickly and played as a team. At last, we won the championship! We were all so happy and proud.
