My Family

I have a happy family. There are four people in my family: my father, my mother, my sister and I. 

My father is a doctor. He works in a hospital. He is very busy, but he loves his job very much. He often helps sick people. My mother is a teacher. She teaches English in a middle school. She is very kind to her students and they all like her. 

My sister is a student. She is in Grade 8. She is good at math and science. She likes reading books and playing the piano. I am also a student. I am in Grade 7. I like playing basketball and listening to music. 

We often have dinner together in the evening. On weekends, we sometimes go to the park or watch movies. I love my family very much. 

My Birthday Party

Last Sunday was my 12th birthday. I had a wonderful birthday party at home. 

In the morning, my parents and I got up early. We decorated the house with colorful balloons and beautiful streamers. My mother made a big and delicious birthday cake. It had 12 candles on it. 

At about 10:00 a. m. , my friends came to my house. They brought me many lovely gifts, such as books, toys and cards. We played games, sang songs and danced together. We also ate the birthday cake. It was very delicious. 

Everyone had a great time at my birthday party. I was very happy because I spent a wonderful day with my family and friends. 

My Shopping Trip

Last Saturday, I went shopping with my mother. We went to a big supermarket. There were many people in the supermarket. 

First, we went to the fruit section. We bought some apples, bananas and oranges. The apples were very fresh. Then we went to the vegetable section. We bought some tomatoes, carrots and potatoes. My mother said they were good for our health. 

After that, we went to the clothes section. My mother wanted to buy a new dress for me. She tried on several dresses, but she didn't like any of them. Finally, we went to the food section. We bought some bread, milk and eggs. 

We spent about two hours in the supermarket. We were very tired but happy. We got a lot of things for our family. 

My School Day

I usually get up at 6:30 in the morning. Then I brush my teeth and wash my face. After that, I have breakfast at 7:00. I go to school at 7:30. My school is not far from my home, so I often walk to school. 

Classes begin at 8:00. We have four classes in the morning and three classes in the afternoon. My favorite subject is English. I think it's very interesting. I have lunch at school at 12:00. After lunch, I often play games with my classmates. 

School is over at 4:30 in the afternoon. I usually go home and do my homework first. Then I help my mother do some housework. I have dinner at 6:30. In the evening, I watch TV or read books. I go to bed at 9:30. This is my school day. It's busy but interesting.
