Most kids hate doing housework. However, you can try some creative ways to get your kids to help with the chores at home.

If you are dealing with (应对) older kids, you can try the allowance deal (零花钱交易). Tell your kids to make money by doing chores. You can give your kids a list of chores each week. If they finish these chores, you can give them some money. Older kids like to buy things like video (视频) games or beautiful notebooks, so they will work hard to finish their chores to get their money. In this way, kids will learn that they must work hard for what they want. It's the meaning of hard work.

If you are dealing with young kids, you can try the rewards chart (奖励图表). You can make a chart and list their chores on the chart. For each chore they finish, you can put a red flower on the chart. For the rewards, you can also do a lot of things, such as going to the park, going out to eat, or buying a gift for them. The rewards would be up to you because you know what your kids like.

For really small kids, you can turn housework into a game. You can teach them to dance around and sing as you clean. The kids may think that the cleaning work is as interesting as games. They will love it and learn to take care of their things, just like magic.

The winter vacation is coming. I'll make some resolutions. First of all, I will take up new hobby like painting. I believe it can play a role in (make) me more creative (有创造力的). Firstly, find what you are interested in or what you're gifted in. You may like listening to music, dancing, or working with computers. You may be gifted in sports. Finding your own interests and gifts is the most important step for career (职业) planning.

Secondly, know about some possible careers. If you find your interests and gifts, you can look for careers to put them into use. If you love sports, for example, you may think about a career as a PE teacher or a soccer coach. If you like English, you can choose to be an English teacher, a translator, or a guide.

Thirdly, do some research. After knowing about some possible careers for you, you'll want to know more about them. You can talk to the people who work at your possible job, then they can help you get more information about it. After that, you can find out if you really like the career.

Maybe the advice about career planning here can't solve all the problems when you decide on the careers in the future, but it can make you do that more easily.

Don't eat too much meat (肉). Some meat comes from endangered (濒危的) animals. To save animals, don't eat too much meat. And it's healthy for us, too.

Don't wear clothes made of fur (皮毛). Sometimes people kill animals for fur. But if we don't buy clothes made of fur, people will not kill animals.

Please give away money (钱) to Animal Helpers. They do everything to help save animals. But they often need money. So save some money and give it away to them to help animals.

Tell people it's important to save animals. Not all people know animals are our friends and that we must save them. So why not tell people around us it's important to save animals?

Many animals are in danger. Pandas are one of them. Pandas live in bamboo forests. But people cut down too many bamboo trees, so pandas are losing their homes. Some pandas are dying because they don't have enough food to eat.

Elephants are also in danger. People kill elephants for their ivory. Many elephants lose their lives. We should try our best to protect them.

Tigers are another kind of animal in danger. People hunt them for their fur and bones. The number of tigers is getting smaller and smaller.

We need to do something to protect these animals. We can plant more trees, stop people from killing animals and tell more people to love animals.

In Thailand, the elephant is very important. It is a symbol of good luck. Thai people celebrate Thai Elephant Day on March 13th.​

Elephants are very smart. They can play soccer or music. They can also draw very well. People say that "an elephant never forgets". Elephants can walk for a long time and never get lost. They can also remember places with food and water.​

But elephants are in great danger. People cut down many trees so elephants are losing their homes. People also kill elephants for their ivory. Today there are only about 3,000 elephants (over 100,000 before). We must save the trees and not buy things made of ivory.​

Today is Sunday. The eight-year-old Mona is in the 1 with her mom. Mona looks at her favorite animal, the giraffe, and says, "Look, Mom! How cute she is!"
