Sometimes you might feel it impossible to get on well with (相处得好) your parents. But in fact, it isn't as difficult as you think. 

Spend more time with your parents. Your parents won't always be around, so try to spend more time with them. This doesn't mean just sitting in front of the TV together.  By doing them, all of you will feel happy and relaxed.

Talk with your parents more often. In order to understand them better, you should talk with them more often.  For example, you could ask them about their own childhood. In this way, you will understand them better.

 Sometimes your parents also want to learn more about you. Just do your best to open your heart to them. When possible, talk to them about something at school or what you really want to be in the future.

Make your parents feel proud (自豪的).  By working hard, you can do well at school or win prizes in games. They will think how lucky they are to have you and be more willing to talk about you in front of others.

Once, a villager had a donkey and a goat. He used the donkey to carry things from the village to the city. Then he sold things in the city all day. Sometimes he would lend his donkey to others when they needed it. As the donkey worked hard the whole day, the villager fed the donkey more food than he gave to the goat.

The goat was jealous (嫉妒的) of the donkey. It advised the donkey "You work hard all day, but you don't get enough rest. You can lie on the ground and pretend (假装) to be ill (生病的). In this way, you'll have a good rest for a few days." The donkey agreed and acted as if it was ill. The villager asked a doctor for help. The doctor said, "Your donkey has a strange illness. To help it become healthy, you must feed it the meat of a goat."

The villager killed the goat and cooked soup with the goat's meat. Then he fed the soup to the donkey. The goat tried to harm the donkey out of jealousy, but it was killed for its bad nature.

Alice was sitting with her sister by the river and her sister was reading a book. Alice had nothing to do. Once or twice she looked into her sister's book. "And what is a book for," thought Alice, "without pictures or conversations?" Suddenly a white rabbit (兔子) with pink eyes ran by.

There was nothing strange about that. She heard the rabbit say, "Oh dear! Oh dear! I'll be late!" and she did not think it was strange. Then the rabbit took a watch out of its pocket and looked at it. A rabbit with a pocket and a watch? Alice got up and ran across the field after it. She saw it go down a large rabbit hole in the ground.

Then Alice went down after it, but never thought about how she was going to get out again. She found that she was falling down a very, very deep hole (洞). It was too dark for her to see anything. She was falling for a long time. While she was falling, she was thinking about her cat, Dinah. Suddenly she landed on some dry leaves.

This is a story about a monkey. An old man had a monkey. The old man liked it very much. The monkey was very clever. When birds came to the garden, he drove them away. He also helped the old man in many other ways.

One hot afternoon in summer, the old man was asleep in his chair in the garden. A fly (苍蝇) came and sat on the end of the old man's nose. The monkey drove it away. Soon the fly came back again and sat on the old man's nose again. Again the monkey drove it away. Again and again, the monkey became very angry. He jumped up and ran to pick a large stone. When the fly was on the old man's nose again, the monkey hit it hard with the stone (石头). The fly fell off, but the old man's nose was broken (坏的).

Well, many people, even our friends, sometimes do things just like the monkey. They do things too quickly, but they don't think much before they do. Maybe they sometimes bring us trouble, though they mean to do something good.

One night, when the moon was very bright, Rabbit was resting near a river. He was tired and wanted to go to sleep, but he was scared that the tiger was going to eat him up. Rabbit tried to stay awake. He looked up at the sky and started to count the stars. Soon Rabbit fell asleep.

Suddenly, a loud voice woke him up. It was Tiger! "Aha! Now I've got you, little Rabbit! You'll be perfect in my soup!"

Rabbit was very scared, but he had an idea. He looked in the water and saw the reflection (倒影) of the moon. It looked like a big piece of cheese. He moved his mouth, acting like he was eating, and said, "Mmm, yum yum yum. Ah, Tiger. I'm happy to see you. Come and share this delicious white cheese with me. I'm keeping it fresh for you in the river."

Tiger loved white cheese. He licked his lips. "Mmm yum. I can see the cheese, but how do you get it out of the river?" he asked.

"Easy," said Rabbit. "I tie (绑) this stone around my foot and jump in. Do you want to try?"

Tiger tied the stone around his foot and jumped into the river. Splash! Rabbit ran away, saying, "Ha ha! Now you' re the one in the soup!"

Once there was a lovely vegetable field with a very big tree in it. Both the vegetables and the tree made the garden look wonderful. 

In fact, the vegetables and the tree couldn't get on 1 with each other. The vegetables hated the tree because they thought the tree didn't leave them enough 2 by covering them with its thick leaves, while the tree thought that the vegetables drank nearly all the water before it could reach him. 

The situation became worse and worse. One day, the vegetables decided to 3 all the water in the ground so that the tree would dry up. The tree fought back by refusing to offer the vegetables shade (树荫). Soon they both began to dry up under the hot sun.

I have problems with my parents. I don't understand why they like managing every minute of my life. They hope I can get into the ( 习 惯 ) of finishing my (功课) first when I get home. But playing musical (乐器) for an hour means a lot to me as I (考虑) it as a way of relaxation. We can't make a (协议). What's more, I want to work as a volunteer in our (社区) to get some (知识) about life. But my parents refuse me again. 

In my (观点) of view, I need my free time to relax (而不是)of studying all the time. I have (试) some ways to solve the problems, but they didn't work. Hope you can help me.

Tell your parents something about you,  Even a small talk like what's for lunch at school can keep the relationship between you and your parents strong and comfortable. 

 Don't be worried about what they will think of you. On the contrary, they will help you find out the reasons for your poor grades. And next time, you will do better. Anyway, remember that you are the most important person to your parents in the world. If something they do makes you unhappy, you shouldn't be angry with them. Just have a good talk, and I am sure everything will be better.

⑤List possible solutions to the conflict together. You can try listing creative ideas, whether they seem reasonable(合理的) or not. Creativity is your friend when you're solving any problem in life, including conflicting with others. 

The most interesting museum I've ever been to is the American Computer Museum. I learnt some (information)about different computers there. The old computers were much bigger. It's unbelievable that technology (progress) in such a fast way so far! I've also learnt that there was a special computer. It could play chess even  ( well) than humans. However, there' re some rules too, such as "(not touch) them!" or "No running!". 

I've recently been to unusual museum in India, the International Museum of Toilets.  you want to learn about the history and development of toilets, this is the right place for you. It also encourages governments and social groups (think) about ways to improve toilets in the future. 

Last year, I went to the China (nation) Tea Museum in Hangzhou. The tea art performances showed how to make a perfect cup of tea  beautiful tea sets(茶具). Watching the tea preparation is just as enjoyable as drinking the tea (it). I've finally realised why my grandpa loves drinking tea. 

In a history museum, you can know how people lived many years ago. You can also  their lives with our modern lives. In a science museum, you can even do some interesting  there. Some museums give chances to people to enjoy some exhibitions without  any money. 

There are many different kinds of museums to choose from. For example, if you are interested in how  coal and how people use it to create energy, a chemistry museum is the best place for you to visit. If you want to get close to nature, you can go to a natural museum. 

In a museum, you can't be against the rules, or you may be  and someone will even punish you. At last, it's safer to visit museums with your parents.
