There are a lot of things we can do to help our friends and family. Sometimes even a little help may make them feel great. 

★Ask what you can do to help. Talk to family members or friends and ask what they most need help with and just help them do it.  You should show you're always caring about them. 

★Listen. Very often people just need someone to listen to them with kindness. When someone is telling you about himself or herself, don't interrupt (打断) him or her with your own feelings, thoughts, and stories.  It is a kind of great help.

On September 3, 2025, China held a grand military parade (盛大的阅兵式) in Tian'anmen Square in Beijing. This parade was to mark the 80th anniversary (周年纪念日) of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War (世界反法西斯战争). 

Many people from all over China and even the world watched this parade. The soldiers looked very smart and strong. They walked in perfect order, showing great discipline (纪律). There were different groups of soldiers, each with their own special uniforms and weapons. 

The parade also showed many kinds of modern weapons (武器) and equipment. All of these were made in China, which shows that China can make very good weapons by itself. These weapons are not only for showing, but also for protecting our country. They have higher strike precision (打击精度), better adaptability on the battlefield, and greater combat effectiveness. 

During the parade, President Xi Jinping, who is also the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, reviewed the troops. He looked very proud of our soldiers and our country's development. 

This parade is very important. It makes us remember the hard time in the past when our people fought against the enemies. It also shows the world that China is getting stronger and stronger, and we are always ready to protect our country and the peace of the world. 

Amy and Tom were best friends. They were making a cool poster (海报) to help their neighbourhood animal shelter (收容所). They wanted to help the cats and dogs find homes. Though they spent a lot of time and energy on it, they were not happy with their work. 

Amy said, "I think we should design a poster that is full of warmth and love, which will attract more people to take animals home or give away money. "

Tom replied, "But I think the poster should be really easy to understand, so everyone knows why the shelter is important. If we just talk about warmth and love, people will not think it's important to help. "

They didn't agree with each other and began to argue. Their friendship suffered (变差) as a result. 

But everything changed when they went to see the animals in the shelter. They saw the cute little dogs and cats that were waiting for a warm home. They knew they needed to tell everyone about these animals. 

Amy said to Tom, "I know your idea makes sense, but we can include the warmth and love of animal shelters. These animals need more people to care for and help them. "

Tom replied, "You're right. We need to make a poster that is not only warm and loving, but also direct and powerful to express our thoughts. Let's make a poster that's both warm and direct to the point. "

They worked on the poster again, and the shelter loved it. 

The poster quickly went viral online, and lots of people shared the poster and visited the shelter, hoping to take a cute little animal home or giving things the shelter needs. 

After all this, Amy and Tom became even closer friends. They realised that by sticking together and caring about the same thing, they could make something really special. 

A Circle of Kindness

It was a cold winter morning. Amy was on her way to school when she saw an old man standing by the road. He was wearing thin clothes and shivering with cold. His hands were red from the low temperature, and he looked very weak. Amy felt sorry for him. 

"Grandpa, are you okay?" Amy asked gently. The old man looked up and smiled weakly. "I'm waiting for my son, but he hasn't come yet. I didn't expect the weather to be so cold, " he said. Amy thought for a moment and took off her scarf. "Here, put this on. It will keep you warm, " she said. The old man was moved and thanked her repeatedly. 

After school, Amy told her mother about the old man. Her mother praised her for her kindness and said, "We should always help those in need. A small act of kindness can make a big difference. " Inspired by her daughter, Amy's mother decided to prepare some warm clothes and food for the old man. 

The next day, Amy and her mother went to the same place. The old man was still there, but this time he looked much better. He told them that his son had finally come and he was very grateful for their help. He also said that he wanted to pass on the kindness. Later, he donated all his extra clothes to a homeless shelter. 

This experience made Amy realize that kindness is like a circle. When you give it to others, it will come back to you in some way. We should always be ready to lend a helping hand, because even the smallest kindness can warm the world. 

Two years ago, when I was making summer plans, at first I chose Plan A—working at an animal hospital or a place that trains animals to work with the disabled. But unluckily, people needed to be at least sixteen to do such work, and I wasn't old enough. So I chose Plan B—volunteering at an animal shelter (收容所) in my city. 

Working at an animal shelter wasn't what I expected. I couldn't wear my favorite T-shirt when training the dogs because the dogs liked giving me big kisses (吻). I couldn't wear new shoes either when feeding the cats. When the cats disliked some food, they would spit (吐) it out and make my shoes dirty. However, it was still an interesting experience. Although there were many hard jobs, I had great fun playing with the animals. I loved walking around and deciding which dog I should take to the training room. 

I spent all summer volunteering, and Plan B is probably the best decision I have ever made. Many people don't realize that they don't need to work at the shelter to give assistance. Shelters are often short of necessary things, so collecting money and helping out at the front desk can also be of great help!

My dad works for an aid (救助) organisation. He and his workmates give 1 aid to the hungry people in poor areas. Last weekend, I went with him to one of his daily work. I was there simply to hand people a leaflet. The job was 2 and I wasn't having fun. 

Then I saw a girl doing the same work as I did, but she was 3 all the time. She walked up to people and asked them whether they needed help, instead of waiting for people to find her. Just then, a toothless man came over, head down and shoulders bowed. His clothes were old, dirty and broken. I saw the girl talking 4  to the man, "Morning, sir! Is there something I can help you with?" SIR? SIR!  She spoke to the old man as if (好像) he was 5 . Was I hearing her correctly? Why would she treat a poor man from the street 6 a captain (上校) in the army?

 Don't talk too much if they don't ask you a question. Sometimes it's not necessary for you to have something to say, They just need someone to talk to about their feelings. 

Be there for them.

 If you don't want to stay with your friends when they' re in hard times, you don't deserve(值得) to be with them when they' re having a good time!

Make plans with them.

Try to make plans with your friends. Go shopping, go to a movie and so on. Take time to know each other even better by doing something you enjoy.  And you'll still keep these things in mind when you' re old!

Many Chinese animation companies worked together on Ne Zha 2. Each company did what it did best, like designing characters or making action scenes look real. This teamwork helps China's animation industry (产业) grow and shows how collaboration can help all to success. 

In short, Ne Zha 2 is more than a movie——it is a big step for the Chinese animation. It shares China's culture with the world and shows confidence (信心) in its stories. By mixing tradition with new (启发) future generations. ideas, Chinese films can stay alive and inspire 

As kids grow, they will do jobs of all kinds, and will also face challenges. Teaching kids to work together in teams is important in today's world. 

It is good for kids to work as a team. Teaching kids teamwork can help them to enjoy spending time with other people, work together, and solve different problems in school and in their lives. 

When kids take part in team sports and help with household chores, they can develop teamwork skills. Even simply being in a family means working in a team! Through these activities, teamwork can teach them how to lead and how to work together. 

It is not easy for kids to share work. There should be different ways to teach kids to enjoy teamwork.

When Qi Hongbo, a respected member of a rescue (救援) team and a volunteer for public welfare (公益事业), died at the age of 47 on May 31, 2024, his family made an important decision to donate his body in order to help more people. 

Qi, who worked as a truck driver in Zibo, Shandong, also served as a deputy (副职) leader of a rescue team in Zibo. Throughout his life, he had been doing things for the public. 

In the eyes of his wife Chang Li, Qi always eagerly volunteered whenever there was a call for help. He spent almost all of his free time on voluntary service. 

In August 2021, when a sudden flood hit Henan Province, Qi, together with his team members, rushed to Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan Province, to help with rescuing people. Then again in December 2023 when a powerful earthquake hit Jishishan County in Gansu Province, he and his team took action to deal with the disaster at once. 

According to Liu Dong, the leader of the rescue team, Qi kept his mobile phone on for 24 hours so that he could respond quickly whenever needed. 

However, no one thought that Qi would lose his life in the volunteer service he loved. On the afternoon of May 24, Qi fainted (昏厥) while volunteering in Zibo. When he fell, he hit his head on a stone bench, leading to his death. 

In the terrible sadness, his wife and son made a difficult but great decision to donate Qi's liver, kidneys, corneas, and other organs (器官).
