An Unforgettable Experience

Everyone has some experiences that they can't forget.

What do you often do when you wait for a bus or a train at the station?

Tom was going to Paris by bus. He arrived at the bus station early to catch the bus. The bus for Paris would not leave until twenty past twelve. He was excited about his trip and didn't want to miss it.

Tom saw a lot of people waiting in the station. Some were standing in line, and some were walking around.

The station was noisy. Tom looked around, but there was no place for him to sit. So he walked into Station Coffee

House. It was quiet inside, and the smell of coffee was nice. He looked up at that clock there. It was only a quarter to twelve. He still had a lot of time. He felt happy and relaxe     D. He found a seat and sat down before a large mirror on the wall. The mirror made the room look bigger. Just then, Mike, one of Tom's workmates, came in and sat with

He had to wait again. Since then, Tom has never liked mirrors.

This was an unforgettable experience for Tom. He learned to always check the real clock, not the mirror!

Rules are very important in our life. You must follow the rules and you can keep . Rules help us stay away from danger and live happily. For example, water safety rules can save lives.

On Aug. 9th,  three students in Anhui played near a river, two of them drowned (溺亡) in the river.

It was a very sad accident. Many children do not realize how dangerous water can be.

Some children under 14 years old in China  their lives because of drowning every summer. About 57,000  drown each year in the country. Most of these accidents happen in rivers, lakes, or pools without lifeguards (救生员).

How to stop accidents like these? , we must be careful when we are playing near the water or swimming in it. Never run near water. Next, it is never too late to learn how to swim.  swimming may help you avoid drowning. For example, you should know how to float (漂浮) on your back. Floating is  useful way of survival, because people can have time to help you. If you fall into deep water, stay calm and try to float. Then, it is also important to swim only in the places with lifeguards. Never swim in the wild! Always stay with an adult or a frien     D. Last but not least, you should not try to save someone by when he or she is drowning. Jumping into water without training can be very dangerous. You must ask nearby adults  help and call 119 or 120 at once.

Remember, water can be fun, but it can also be deadly. Always follow the rules!

The 2025 Spring Festival Gala amazed audiences worldwide with a performance by dancing robots.

Through this show, the world sees China's great progress in technology. More countries now understand China can make wonderful inventions. We feel proud that our country is becoming stronger and smarter every day.
