Gardening also provides (提供) me with a real way to protect the environment. We collect rain to save water, see bees visit our flowers, and improve the health of soil. It makes me feel deeply connected to wildlife and our planet. And gardening is like painting with nature. I can design (设计) my garden and create a beautiful space. Every time I work in the garden, I feel like an artist!

Earthquakes may happen in some areas every year. How can we save ourselves when an earthquake happens? Remember the following advice that can keep you safe. 

Leave quickly. Leave the building quickly when the ground stops shaking. Don^'t use a lift. It may be very dangerous. You should be careful and try not to fall down when you go downstairs. Accidents may happen when many people rush into a crowded stair. Remember to run to the ground away from street lights or power lines. 

Find a safe place. If you can't leave in time, you should hide yourselves under a table and stay away from windows. If you are in a bus or car, stay in it. If you are in the mountains, be

careful of falling rocks. 

Value lives. Some people care about the things that are valuable. You will lose the best opportunity to run away. Anything is less valuable than your lives. 

Keep calm. When you are caught in a building, you should keep calm. Don^'t shout all the time. You should save your energy and try to find some food and water. 

Eyes are the windows of people^'s soul(心灵). They play a big part in our lives. However, some children do not take care of their eyes properly. Most of them have some bad habits of using eyes. What should you do to protect eyes?

Firstly, sleep at least eight hours every day. It is a good way for eyes to rest. Meanwhile, loss of sleep may cause dark circles around your eyes. 

Secondly, it is important to have a balanced diet. Fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, meat, fish and milk are good for eyes. Your body needs to get different kinds of nutrition(营养物质). 

Lastly, you should use your eyes healthily. If you read the books or play the computer games for a long time, your eyes will be tired. Doing eye exercises, closing the eyes for a while, or looking far into the distance can help you relax eyes. Uf not, you will have a bad eyesight.

The Sibenan tiger is the largest of all tigers. An adult male can grow up to 3.3 meters in length and weigh as much as 300 kilograms. Although Sīberian tigers are strong, they are one of the most endangered animals. There are less than 500 of these beautiful animals still living in the world. Long ago, Siberian tigers were common all over the Northeast Asia and the RussiaFar East. However, today they are found mainly along the Chinose-Russian border(边境). When people build cities and cut down trees, it means the tigers have less food and less space to live in. That^'s the main reason why the number of the Siberian tigers is reducing. 

In recent years, China has set up natural reserves(保护区) and begun to protect theSiberian tigers. There are also plenty of Siberian tigers in zoos. It is hoped that some of these tigers can return to the wild. Of course, they would need to learn how to hunt and take care of themselves. An adult Siberian tiger requires up to 100 square kilometers of forest to live in. At present, there is not enough forest available to support so many Siberian tigers in the wild.
