Dear Bob, 

How is everything going? I am writing this letter to encourage you to have a healthy life. 

As a child, Pengtao's dream was to become a good swimmer. When he was 12, he joined the school swimming team. Though he loved water, he often fell  in races. Last year, he nearly lost heart after losing a competition. But his teacher told him, "The key to is to take every chance to learn and improve. " From then on, Pengtao  harder. He asked the teacher for advice, and trained every day in school. He enjoyed every moment and told himself not to give  . 

Last Saturday, our school held a big swimming event. Pengtao felt  but ready. When the race began, he  his breath and swam fast. Halfway through, he was third. But in the final meters, his shining spirit made  swim fast. To everyone's surprise, he finally crossed the finishing line first!

With the teachers and students cheering loudly, Pengtao's parents said, "We' re so  of you!"When the school radio station asked about his success, Peng smiled, "  possible, I will keep swimming. I know courage and hard work are very important. "

Hot pot, a popular dish in China, young people love it very much today. They usually eat it in winter, but now we can see it on tables all year round. Let's see its history and cultural meaning!

Genghis Khan was one of the greatest military leaders（军事领袖）. He and his people lived in a very cold place in winter. He needed food to keep his people warm, strong and healthy. They got some pots and put snow into them. They used the fire（火）to cook the pots, then they put some meat into the pots. After a short time, they began to eat the meat. 

That might be the first hot pot. The meat mostly was mutton, beef and horse. Later, people brought hot pot to other parts of China and ameliorated it. People began to put more kinds of ingredients into the hot pot, such as vegetables, noodles and seafood. 

Today, we can find different kinds of hot pot in Beijing, Chongqing, Sichuan and even in some other countries. When we enjoy the delicious hot pot, we also feel the special food culture of China. 

Hot pot is more than food, it's about sharing. Young people sit around the pot, chatting and laughing while cooking together. This tradition helps people in China care for their families and stay close with their friends. 

Last Friday, our teacher walked into the classroom and shared a secret with us. "We' re going to help farmers pick vegetables and sell（卖）them!" We all wanted to be the 1 of the plan. 

Early in the morning, we felt 2  and arrived at a farm by bus. We had two teams. One group picked cabbages, the other group washed them. The wind tried to 3  our hats when we picked cabbages. Some students were talking about their hobbies, others were telling stories. We were all happy. "Working together is 4  fun!" said Lucy. In the afternoon, we carried the vegetables to a market in town. Many 5  came to buy them. A woman even gave us some fruits. We used our smart ideas to 6  money for a village school. An old man said, "You kids are building a bridge between kindness and 7  !" That evening, we were all tired but happy. We remembered the words of Plato:"Happiness 8  doing good and helping others. "

I put down the book called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. But I kept going over the exciting story in my mind. The book was full 1 magic. But Charlie' s happy family was the most magical part of the story. 

Charlie's home was 2 small house at the side of a big town. His family was very poor. His four grandparents stayed in the only bed in the house. 3 of them had a different place to sleep. The family 4 had enough food. They always ate watery cabbage soup for dinner. 

To my surprise, the family felt 5 together. In the evenings, Charlie sat with his grandparents in bed 6 listened to their stories. Charlie's parents often 7 in. Every night, the room became a happy place and they forgot their poor life. 

This touched me greatly. In some of my 8 minds, happiness comes from things like money. But love, in fact, is the key to happiness. Oscar Wilde once said, " Keep love in 9 heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden. . . " There 10 so many reasons to be happy. I think love is the most important one. It can move us, change us, and fill our lives with joy.

Eat healthily

You must have breakfast every day,because a good breakfast can help you start the day well.

Noodles are important food in China. People eat noodles every day. So noodles are the

real(真正的）Chinese food and people usually choose noodles when they see the in a restaurant.There are many different of noodles.Many people like noodles at home.But some people buy noodles in the shop they have no time to make them.

People can cook noodles something they like. Children like noodles with and tomatoes. Young people like noodles with meat and vegetables. Some people like to eat noodles with vinegar(醋).

When people are on birthday, family cook noodles with eggs as birthday food. They think people can have good and live a long life after eating it.Sometimes people noodles in the Spring Festival. When you to China,welcome to eat the real Chinese food—noodles.

We know exercise is important in our life. Everyone needs to exercise. Doctors say doing sports is beneficial for us. Sports can make our body strong. Children should also do some sports. It's good for them. If children often do sports, they can be stronger and taller. Doing sports is easy. Here is some advice for you.

You can walk, run or only jump. These are easy ways. Every day you walk to the

classrooms and have PE class.

Don't do sports too much at a time. Try all kinds of sports and look for one, two or even three sports you like. People exercise for an hour every day have better sleep and more energy.

You can also exercise at a gym or on the sports field. In the gym, you can play basketball, play tennis or play badminton. After school, you can run or play football on the sports field.     Exercise can be fun. It can make you happy.

Friends can exercise together. You can do sports with your friends at any place you like. You can also join the running club together.

As you can see, you can try different ways to do exercise. And Just do it!
