Do you often see someone make coffee art? But do you know people can do the same thing with tea? People make tea art in cups, or dian cha in Chinese. It was a ritual (仪式) during the Song Dynasty. 

Chinese tea culture started to become popular during the Tang Dynasty. 

Different from the way of brewing tea (泡茶) during the Tang Dynasty, in the Song Dynasty the popular way of having tea was through dian cha. It begins like this. First people pour hot water over fine powdered tea to make a paste (糊状物). Then they pour more hot water slowly. At the same time, people need to whisk (搅动) the tea. This action of pouring hot water is called dian, so it's called dian cha. Now many people are interested in this special way of drinking tea. They think dian cha makes drinking tea fun.

Charlie works on a farm. And on weekends, he likes riding a bike with his friend David. 

Last Sunday, It was sunny and warm. Charlie and David rode on the road. Then they saw an overturned（翻倒的）car. A driver and a penguin（企鹅）were in the car. 

Charlie and David helped the driver and the penguin get out of the car.  The driver asked Charlie to take the penguin to the zoo. 

" and I will take the driver to the hospital," said David. "OK!" said Charlie. 

A few hours later, David saw Charlie walking down the road with the penguin in his arm. " Charlie, I told you to take the penguin to the zoo," said David, "I did. " said Charlie.

One day, a monkey and a fox saw an apple tree on the other side of the river. There were many big and red apples on it. But there was no bridge over the river. So they cut down a tree and put it over the river as a bridge.

The monkey said, "My old friend, you go there first." But after the fox got to the other side, he kicked the tree into the river. "How can I get there without the tree?" cried the monkey. The fox laughed and said, "You just stand there and watch me eat the apples." The monkey was very angry.

Suddenly it began to rain hard. The water rose(上升) quickly and the tree went away with the water.

"You can eat all the apples, but you can't come back," shouted the monkey.

The fox stopped eating and looked at the monkey sadly.

On a summer day, a man was sitting under a tree on the bank of a river, watching a group of ducks on the river.

Soon a branch with leaves came drifting (漂浮) among them, and they all flew away. After circling in the air for a little time, they landed again on their feeding ground.

Soon another branch came drifting down among them, and again they took flight from the river. But when they found the branch drifted by without any danger, they flew down to the water as before.

After four or five branches had drifted by in this way, the ducks gave little attention to them. At last, they hardly tried to fly out of their way, even when the branches nearly touched them.

The man who was watching all this, now wanted to know who drifted these branches. He looked up the river, and noticed a fox slyly (偷偷地) watching the ducks. "What will he do next?" thought the man.

When the fox saw that the ducks were no longer afraid of the branches, he took a much larger branch, and hid himself behind it. Then he drifted himself with the larger branch. When he was right among the ducks, he caught two young ducks quickly and swam off with them. The rest of the ducks flew away in fright, and did not come back for a long time.

The fox must have enjoyed a fine dinner for what he had done.

A father and his son went to a kite-flying festival. The son was happy when he saw the sky1 colorful kites. He wanted to fly a kite, too. The father then bought a kite for his son.
