Good morning, everyone!

I'm very happy to be here and make a speech today. The topic of my speech is the secret of my happiness.

Choose your friends. If you want to be happy, choose to be around people who are happy and who can make your life rich and positive. 

Keep studying. Studying keeps us young and dreams keep us alive. When we are busy studying, we're less likely to think about unhappy things. 

Live in the present. When you feel sad, you're living in the past. When you feel worried, you're living in the future. But when you feel happy, you're living in the present. 

Do your best and then let go. Everyone has limitations (局限), and things don't always turn out to be as you wish. So always try your best, and then let go. If you do your best, you'll have no regrets (遗憾).

Health is important to all of us. If you want to get healthy, you should have good habits. Here is some advice for you.

First of all, make sure you eat balanced meals. This helps you get what your body needs. And be sure to eat meals on time every day. Don't eat too late or too much. This will cause health problems. 

Second, take your time while eating. Eating too fast is bad for your health. You should spend 30 minutes or more eating a meal. 

Third, move your body often. Do exercise for 30 minutes or more every day. This helps you stay fit. Your body needs to digest （消化） food, so give it time. What's more（此外）, don't go to bed right after you eat.

 Too much salt can raise your blood pressure（血压）. Try to have no more than 5g of salt a day.

We made a survey(调查）at No.1 Middle School last week. We asked about 2,000 students about their school lives. Here are some survey questions.

There is a scholar (书生) in Yunnan Province. He studies hard day and night on an island. His wife is very kind. She crosses a bridge to take meals to him every day. It is far from their home to the island so the food gets cold and tastes bad when she gets there. As time goes by, the scholar is becoming thin and not in good health, so his wife is worried about it. 

One day, the scholar's wife kills a chicken and cooks chicken soup in an earthen pot (砂锅), putting some rice noodles, some pieces of meat and vegetables. Unluckily, when she crosses the bridge on the way to the island, she falls to the ground and can't stand up for a long time. When she finally arrives, she is surprised that the earthen pot is still hot. Her husband is surprised, too. They find two secrets (秘密). There is thick chicken oil (油) on the surface (表面) of the soup and the earthen pot can keep the heat in. As a result, the soup is hot and delicious. 

After that, the scholar eats well and becomes healthy. Finally he succeeds in the exams. Therefore crossing-over bridge rice noodles (过桥米线) become famous and popular. 

Welcome to Greenland Zoo. There are many kinds of animals from different places. Here you can see the elephants, the tigers and the peacocks(孔雀) from Asia, the giraffes from Africa and the koalas from Australia. There are also some cute pandas from China. You can take photos of them, but you can't get close or give food to them.
