Like anything we want to achieve, language learning is a long journey to go through. It takes time and hard work. We may meet some1 during the journey, and we need to deal with them.

You will want to take notes during classroom (discuss) and while reading a textbook or doing research for a report. You will also want to develop your own method of taking notes. Whenever or however you take notes, keep in mind that note-taking is  selective process. That means you must first decide what is important enough (include) in your notes. The following methods may work best for you.

I'm now in the second month of teaching as a language assistant in France. I do love my job. Most of my classes here are French classes. That is to say, the students have extra English lessons to help them become better language learners. However, when I ask my students (describe) their favorite movies, they even cannot tell me the names of any movies. I'm really (surprise).

My French is far  perfect. I remember (exact) how I felt when I was sitting in a classroom and had to speak a strange, unfamiliar language in front of my classmates and a native speaker. I was very frightened and nervous. After I became a language assistant (I), I could understand how valuable the role was. Assistants provide  opportunity(机会) for foreigners to listen to a real accent(口音), learn everyday phrases and of course, offer them a chance to practice speaking with native speakers. So all they need to do is practice.

There's always something new to learn such as vocabulary or grammar. I really want to help these students become the best learners but I can't help them  they start to help themselves.

Just like my students, I (buy) a French book and I want to learn French well. , only a few days after buying it, I threw the book in the bottom of my bag without reading it. So I guess there is only one thing left for me to do: Pick up the book and start taking my own (advise) to be a better learner.
