Shenzhen's Yantian District is at the front of China's low-altitude economy（低空经济）change. This new place uses cool technology like drones（无人机）, air taxis, and smart delivery systems that work below 1, 000 meters. Yantian is a role model of using these new ideas in city life. 

One key project is the" Sky Drone Corridor, " which uses self-flying drones to deliver medical things and food. They make delivery time 60% shorter than before. For example, a 10-km delivery that took 40 minutes in the past now only takes 15 minutes. These drones have good guiding tools, so they can get to the right places quickly. 

To keep the airspace safe, Yantian developed the" Smart Sky Platform". It uses AI to watch low-altitude flights all the time, preventing dangerous situations. Since it started, the number of flight accidents has dropped by 80%. 

However, there are still problems. Drones make too much noise and the rules for using the airspace are still getting better. Yantian is testing noise-reducing drone designs and working with the government to make clear flight rules. 

In order to develop in more ways, Yantian is also working with different research places and companies. They are getting ideas from all over the world to solve difficult technical problems and make the low-altitude economy better. In the future, Yantian plans to make its low-altitude network bigger with air taxi services and rescue drones. 

As Chinese users get used to looking through Xiaohongshu (Rednote) every night, they are seeing a flood of English-language posts. At first, people shared pet photos and memes on Rednote. Now, it's much more. During the period when TikTok was banned in US, American netizens（网民），calling them selves"TikTok refugees（难民）", came to Rednote. They ask about life in China and even write to Li Hua——a made-up Chinese character. 

Li Hua first appeared in the English test of the National College Entrance Exam in 1995. Since then, generations of Chinese students have once been Li Hua, writing to introduce Chinese culture, exchange school experiences, and share their dreams, mostly to an imaginary American friend. 

For many Americans, this was the first time they had heard about Li Hua. They use their broken Chinese, some in video clips, and some in poor handwritten Chinese.

In a very popular video with over a million likes, Niu Yu, known as"Brother Chunyou", jumps happily on her left leg. Her friend's funny actions about her amputated（截肢的）right leg and her funny replies brought laughter to people. 

At the age of 11, during the 2008 earthquake, Niu Yu was saved from the remains of the building three days after the disaster happened. Her right leg was cut off because of serious injuries. 

It took her 10 years to walk out of the shadow of being disabled. In 2018, she took part in the Wenchuan Marathon with her"little steel leg". Since then, she took her"little steel leg" as her pride and started to put colorful stickers on it. Under the name of" Brother Chunyou", she started her self-media career and published a book based on her experience. She was also amazed by the art of photography and made it her another lifelong career. She bravely tried new things, like walking in a fashion show. 

Niu Yu's journey on the Internet has not been smooth sailing. Though she was hurt by online violence（暴力）, she keeps going. Her positive power helps many disabled people. As a representative of the Provincial People's Congress（省人大代表）, she pays attention to disabled people's jobs and other relative problems. She hopes that one day disabled people won't be seen as the"weak group" anymore. 

When I was ten, my family moved to a new country. I thought I was ready, but I wasn't ready for the1 that felt like a wall between me and others.

Some animals live only in the cold north. Others live only in the mountains or forests. Polar bears and baby harp seals live in the north. They both have white fur to hide on the snow. Big sheep live in the mountains. They have feet that help them climb rocks. Many animals in Canada move in winter and spring. Canada geese fly south every winter. They return in the spring when it is warmer. 

Celebrations

All over Canada, people celebrate winter. There are festivals for ice-skating and ice carving. There are dogsled races across the snow. The biggest winter festival is in Quebec City. There is an ice castle to visit and games to play. 

Conclusion

Canada is a very big country with many different animals and people. It has many different celebrations, too. Canadians say their differences make them strong. 

Thirty years ago, I lived with a dog called Cookie. Though I lived a hard life at that time and I couldn't even support myself, I never thought of giving it away. 

When Cookie saw my bags spread across the bed, she knew that I was packing for a trip. Then she would show unhappiness with her tail, trying to let me stay. 

When I came back home and wrote my stories, she always sat next to my desk and I would tell her about what I saw and what I heard during the trip. I often read to her what I had written. If she turned away from me, I knew my story wasn't good enough, and I had to improve it. Of course, she didn't understand what I was really writing. But I could write a story better in this way.

Helping others makes me happy

I like helping others. I think helping people in need can make me happy.
