It's fun to visit the monkeys at the zoo and watch them play and climb. We laugh at how cute they are and talk about how much they seem like us. But in some cities, monkeys and people live together—it isn't a pleasure at all.

In New Delhi, India, thousands of small monkeys live in the city. They steal food from street shops, break into people's houses, and leave a mess. Sometimes they even bite (咬) people and cause blackouts (停电) and Internet problems. Every year the city grows and more forests are cut down, leaving monkeys with no wild space. Now monkeys are used to living in the city. It's a big worry!

The government has tried many ways to keep monkeys away. Workers catch monkeys and take them to wild areas far from the city. To stop the monkeys from returning for food, trucks bring food to them. But the wild areas aren't large enough for all the monkeys. Recently, the city also tried using paper tigers and recorded sounds to drive them away. However, monkeys quickly learn these aren't real.

The problem won't be easily solved. Most people like monkeys and don't want to hurt them, but they don't want monkeys in their homes either. The monkeys probably feel exactly the same way about us. No matter what method we choose, one thing is clear: if we don't protect the homes of wild animals, they may have no choice but to live in ours.

Jimmy Carter is a 10-year-old boy who has visited many places around the world. But unlike most travelers,  Jimmy "sees" these places from his mother's back. Born with blindness and disability, Jimmy depends completely on his mother Anna and needs round-the-clock care.

Jimmy has a wheelchair, but they have never enjoyed using it. Every day, Anna carries Jimmy on her shoulders and helps him walk a short way with support. Together, they have traveled to many countries, visiting museums and taking wonderful photos to share happy moments.

When not traveling, they enjoy simple pleasures at home. They often ride a special bike together through their neighborhood, meeting their friendly neighbors. Over time, these neighbors often praise Anna for her courage and care toward her son.

Anna still remembers how her heart "broke" when she learned her son was blind for life. It took years to overcome those feelings of hurt. "Being a mom, my life is different," she says, "but I will never stop being there for Jimmy because he makes my life meaningful."

There are many deaf people in China. They need sign language to communicate with each other. In fact, Chinese Sign Language (CSL) has a long history. It appeared in the Tang dynasty. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, many deaf people in China could use it to communicate with others well.

There are more than 300 different sign languages all over the world. To make people know the importance of sign languages, the United Nations chose September 23rd as the International Day of Sign Languages (IDSL) in 2018. On that day, there are many activities in China. Last year, many volunteers taught sign language to doctors and nurses in a hospital in Lianyungang, Jiangsu province. It could help them communicate with deaf people better. In a library in Haikou, Hainan province, children and sign language lovers learned to sing songs using sign language. They also played games together. Everyone had a great time there.

It's hard  that the egg will become something completely different in a few days. It becomes a walking insect. This insect is called "caterpillar" . It now has legs, eyes and a large body. A new life has begun. The caterpillar can eat, walk and see. , it is still not a butterfly.

Soon, after growing big, the caterpillar makes a cover for itself. It covers itself in the nice protective blanket (保护层) and  to sleep. This stage is known as the "pupa stage".

After some time, the blanket breaks and a wet, weak butterfly appears. It now has six , a mouth, eyes and wings. Shortly, the wings fill with blood, and the beautiful butterfly spreads  wings and flies away.

This adult butterfly lays her eggs  a few weeks, and the cycle begins all over again. A Chinese phrase "po jian cheng die" can describe the butterfly's development best. This is just one example of the wonders of nature. Look around the natural world, and you will learn  truly amazing things.
