Reading popular science books is a great way to learn new knowledge. I  (start) reading science books when I was 10 years old. My favorite book is "The Mystery of the Universe", which is one of  (interesting) books I have ever read. It  (write) by a famous scientist from the UK.

I usually read for 40 minutes every day before going to bed. I keep a notebook to write down   (I) thoughts and questions while reading. Last night, my sister asked me why I liked science books so much. I told her that they help me understand the world better and make me  (curious) about nature.

For example, the book tells us how the solar system  (form) and how life began on Earth. It also teaches us some basic (science) rules and encourages us to ask questions and find answers by ourselves. My sister listened  (careful) and said she wanted to read the book with me.
