In the city of Zhengzhou, there is a hot pot restaurant called Shengyousheng. It is doing something very special. It gives jobs to people who are hearing-impaired—that means they can't hear well or at all. 

The restaurant's name includes (包括) the words "more" and "sound". It shows its hope to bring more voices into the world. About half of the workers there have difficulty in hearing. A 31-year-old man, Deng Wei, works as the kitchen manager (经理). He makes about 4,000 yuan each month and says he enjoys working in a quiet and friendly place.

Shengyousheng is a self-service hot pot restaurant. Customers choose their own food and make their own sauces (调味汁), so there's not much need to talk. This makes it easy for hearing-impaired workers to do their jobs. To help with communication, the restaurant uses big posters on the walls. These posters show simple hand signs, like how to say "thank you" by placing (放) one hand near your chin (下巴) and moving it forward. There are also signs for "food", "hello", and "wait for a while". Next to each picture, there are easy-to-read words, so customers can understand what the hand signs mean. Each table also has cards and pens. Customers can use them to write to the workers if needed. 

Shengyousheng is not only helping people with hearing problems find jobs, but also showing everyone that kindness (善良), patience (耐心), and respect are just as important as words. It's a restaurant full of good food and big hearts.

Recently, Emma, a 7-year-old kind girl, saved a homeless dog. 

The story took place in the neighborhood where Emma lived. One day she noticed a dog that seemed lost and abandoned (被抛弃的) at a quiet corner of her neighborhood. While others might directly walk past the little dog, Emma walked up to it, and then her eyes met the poor dog's eyes. The little dog in front reminded Emma of her own lost pet dog, so she made a decision to do something to help it. 

After getting her parents' permission (允许), Emma took the dog home. She offered enough meals, a comfortable bed and medical treatment that the homeless dog exactly needed. With Emma's care and love, the poor dog felt natural warmth. 

News of Emma's act spread through the neighborhood like wildfire, touching the hearts of her neighbors. Some of them even joined her to offer help. Later, the Internet also became a platform (平台) for sharing Emma's story. Gradually, more and more people knew Emma. 

Emma and her saved dog, now named Hope, became close friends. Every day her room is filled with laughter when she plays with Hope. 

Emma's story has had a ripple effect (连锁反应) within her neighborhood, and even in other places. People begin to realize that the world will become a better place if they give a helping hand to those in need. And they all take action to notice the homeless animals around them.

Last month, I joined a voluntary program at a local children's home. The children there either had no parents or were  (disable). We wanted to bring them joy and help them feel  (positive). One girl named Linlin liked painting,  she couldn't go outside. So I took photos for her, and she used  for her art. Another boy loved football but lost his leg in an accident. We taught him  sing, and he felt much happier. Through these little  (kind), we learned that even small actions can make a big difference.

We also learned about blood donation. People who are healthy and over 18 can donate blood. Type O is called the universal  (donate). World Blood Donor Day is on 14 June, the birthday of Karl Landsteiner,  discovered the ABO system.

If you want to organize a voluntary activity, you should write a letter to ask  permission. Remember: kind hearts are like gardens, and kind words are the flowers.  you help one person, you are not living in vain.

Helping those in need is a  thing that everyone can do. It brings  to both the people who get help and the people who give help.

Many warm-hearted people  money and things to charity every year. Some volunteers  old books and clothes for the poor kids in mountain villages, and some the homeless people with food and shelter. They have been  about the people in trouble for a long time and they never give up.

Volunteering is also a good way to  with different people. When we help others, we learn to be more  and patient. We understand that a small act of kindness can make a big  to someone's life.

We should develop a  spirit from an early age. Let's take action to help those in need, and make the world a better place.

Many students take part in   at the weekend to help people around them.

Through these small acts of kindness, they hope to bring warmth to more people  .
