The next day at school, Eddy puts on his boots and kicks the ball. "Wow!" says the kid. "Cool boots!" And Eddy says happily and proudly, "It's not the boots. It's the boy in the boots!"

My dream school is big and beautiful. It has a gym, a dancing room, a sports field and a garden. There are lots of flowers and trees in the garden in front of the teaching building. The teaching building has six floors. The third floor has two libraries, three computer rooms and three science rooms. 

From Monday to Friday, school starts at 8:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm. There are three lessons in the morning and two lessons in the afternoon. Besides Chinese, English and math, there are interesting lessons about cooking and chess. We can choose our favourite lessons to learn. We can have more time for reading. We do after-school activities for 1.5 hours every day. We don't need to do a lot of homework. 

For lunch, the school can provide (提供) us with all kinds of food, such as Japanese, French and Chinese food. So we can choose what we like and eat more happily. 

As for the teachers, they are all great. They are not only our teachers but also our good friends. And the students are nice. We are like a big family. 

A tidy（整洁的）desk helps you find things easily and is good for your study. But how can you keep your desk tidy?

First, only put things you need on your desk. For some old books or dictionaries, you can put them in the bookcase（书架）. Get a box for small things you don't need every day, and you can put your pens, pencils and rulers in a pencil box. 

Second, don't put food or drinks on your desk, because they can make your desk dirty. And you could make more mistakes (错误) when you do your homework. Go to the kitchen when you want to eat. 

Third, put important things next to you. Then it is easy for you to get them. This is also very helpful when you need to get your schoolbag ready. 

Fourth, clean your desk every day. If you do it every day, you can have a new day with a tidy room the next morning.

I Have Changed a Lot!

What does it mean to be polite? You are polite  you show good manners. Look around the lunch room the next time you are there. You will quickly be able （tell）who is polite and who is not. 

Your friends who talk （quiet）are polite. Those who chew（嚼）food with their mouths （close）are polite. Those who are not very polite may play with their food. They may talk aloud at public （place）. Those who are not polite are usually getting  trouble at lunch time with the teachers who are watching them. 

You can also show you are polite  you meet someone new. The best way to do this is to make eye contact with the person you are meeting. Stick out your hand to shake hands. Smile. Then you can say,"Hi, my name is … It is very nice to meet you. " The person you are meeting will likely smile. He or she （be）pleased with how polite you are. Being polite （mean）you show your respect to them. It also tells others that you know how to act properly. 

You will feel good about （you）when you are nice and polite to others. 

I still remembered that day, while I was eating （甜点）beside the fountain in the park, a（陌生人）in the crowd suddenly stopped and looked around （担忧）. He turned to me and asked （大声）,"Excuse me, could you tell me （精确）where the library is?"I didn't answer at once. （反而）, I smiled politely and said,"Of course, let me （检查）the map on my phone for you. " He thanked me, and I pointed to the big red building across the square. After he left, I felt （骄傲）of myself, because using my （能力）to help others politely makes the whole day sweeter. 

Last Friday, our class had to give short speeches. I was  the day before, so I didn't know the order. When the teacher called my name, my heart fell to the  of my shoes. I walked to the front nervously. After taking a deep breath, I  my notes with shaking hands. The room was so quiet that I felt the  of blood in my ears. Then I remembered my , I had practiced in front of my dog every evening. I took a breath, smiled, and spoke. My voice was clear, and no one noticed my fear. When I finished, the class clapped, and the teacher said,"Great job"I walked back to my seat feeling  than the ceiling（天花板）. 

Loneliness is not always being alone. it is a feeling that can control you even when you are stung in the middle of a crowded room. Studies show that it is more dangerous to health to be socially alone than to smoke fifteen cigarettes a day. 

Accept the feeling. The first step in overcoming anything is accepting. By accepting the way you feel, you will realize how loneliness influences your life

 Nobody can seem to get enough at social media(媒体). However, behind the screens, many of us are facing the same problems not loneliness but we do not like to show that side. If you feel like you are feeling lonelier by using social media, it is time to stop. 

Exercise self-love.  Accept yourself as you are, so that you will make healthy choices in life Do what you love the most, learn to say no, eat healthily and fall in love with yourself before loving someone else. 

There are many other ways to overcome loneliness. But whatever way you use, having the right person by your side matters the most.  That's why you need to love yourself. If your loneliness has become too much to bear, don't wait to take some professional help.
