As middle school students, it's important for us to have the courage to try new things in our daily life.We should remember that every great journey starts with a single step. small steps each day can lead to big achievements. However,students have the confidence to start. They may have belief in themselves. But with some small steps each day, they can build up confidence. It may seem like  progress at first, but those small steps will add up to big results.

On June 15th, our family visited the science museum, and it was really interesting.  Since we early, we avoided the long weekend lines. We saw many smart  and took photos of them. Surprisingly, they could play chess ! I tried a game but lost in five minutes—— they were so amazing.Later, I went to the gift shop and bought some  gifts. There were small robot models and colorful stickers(贴纸). Different from , my sister Jenny hated the trip because the train was crowded.She wasn't  anything there, so she had a terrible time.

The next day, we took a long bus ride to a lake . It passed through green fields where farmers were working, and small villages looked quiet and peaceful. the food that we prepared earlier, we made a fire and put up our tents. At night, we sat under the moon and told each other stories—— until Jenny and I screamed at seeing a big snake  by the fire.  Dad rushed over and jumped to scare it away, then it moved into the forest near the lake., the snake did not hurt us. I will be more careful when going on outdoor trips in the future.

破茧成蝶的学习蜕变之路

Dear David,

How is it going? You said you always thought that your  learning abilities were better than yours. That's because they seemed to understand things more quickly. I once had a similar with you. So I'd like to  you not to be discouraged and you should try to find your own learning ways.

Firstly, to increase my knowledge in science, I watched  science documentaries(纪录片)every weekend. After watching, I reviewed the key  and wrote them in my notebook. In this way,I not only remembered what I learned but also found it easy  questions in class.

Besides, I short poems about my daily life to improve my writing ability. It was a fun way to practice using words.

Moreover, I tried what I learned in different subjects. I also joined study groups where I could share ideas. By listening to others' thoughts, I got some new ideas. As time went by, I found myself making great . I knew that everyone could learn well if they used the right methods.

Through that, I not only improved my grades but also faced challenges positively. I realized learning is not about comparing yourself with others but about finding the  ways. Hope my story can help you!

Andrew loved playing football with his friends. One sunny afternoon, they started a 1 in the school playground. All of them were full of energy and played excitedly. When Andrew's friend tried to pass him the ball, Andrew used his 2 to catch it.

"Don't touch the ball like that You are against the 3 ." His friend got angry and said. But Andrew just laughed and said,"I think it doesn't matter. We are just playing"

Other boys told Andrew that these rules are fair for everyone. They provide 4 for every player in the game. Without them, people may get hurt easily. But Andrew did not accept their 5 . Finally, his friends didn't want to play with him.

Andrew went home sadly. His mother noticed his sadness and asked the 6 . Andrew told her everything."The truth is that rules are not only for others, but also for you. No rules means no real 7 . When you follow them, you show respect to your friends and the 8 ." His mother said.

Hermit crabs(寄居蟹) are small animals that live in the ocean or on the beach. The crab has its own hard shell (外壳) but it only covers part of its body. The  cannot be protected without a shell. So the crab will find an empty shell and climb inside to stay safe.

As a hermit crab grows, a bigger shell is needed. Hermit crabs may stay together to exchange shells or shells. Hermit crabs eat just about  they can find, such as plants, dead fish or even food left on the beach. In this way, they help beaches stay clean.

However, some hermit crabs can't find real shells. Sometimes plastic bottles and caps are seen as real shells . Once inside, many cannot get out and slowly die. If these , like beach clean-ups, recycling, and using less plastic, are taken, they will make a big difference.

Last summer, I took part in a speech competition. When it was my turn to give a speech, I was very nervous. "What if I can't remember my words and  to other competitors?" My heart  quickly. I forced myself to be calm down. To relax, I began to imagine myself standing in a field, with the listeners like grass waving in the wind. Surprisingly, it worked.Finally, I  many competitors, and even more unbelievably, I first prize! My classmates all cheered for me. I felt so proud and happy that day.
