In most parts of the world, many students help their schools make less pollution. They join environment clubs. In an environment club, people work together to protect the environment. 

No rubbish lunches. How much rubbish do you throw after lunch? Environment clubs ask students to bring their lunches in bagsth at can be recycled. The students try their best to make less rubbish. 

World Car-Free Day was first started by 35 cities in France on September 22, 1998. It was started to protect the environment. By now, more than 1,000 cities around the world have had no-car day. In China, more and more people are takin g part in the activity. The slogan (口号) for World Car-Free Day is, "If we drive less for one day, we can have one nicer day. "On a no-car day, nobody comes to school by car—not the students or the teachers! 

Cars produce pollution in the air, so remember: Walk, ride or run! Use your legs! It's lots of fun! 

Turn off water! Some toilets (厕所) could waste a lot of water an hour. To save the water, the members of the environment clubs try to men dthose broken toilets.

Protecting the environment is an important challenge. People should start with small things to have a great influence  it. For example, we can save electricity by shutting down the computers when we don't use them. Recycling paper, plastic and glass is also an easy way to reduce the pollution.

I want to do something for the world as well. I succeeded in joining the environment club in my school last year. I was the  (twenty) member in it at that time. We did many helpful activities  drew more people's attention. So far, the number of the members has increased toni nety. I feel proud that the club is doing its part to protect the environment  (proper). 

I believe the earth will become a greener planet in the future if we all work together. So let's start from now on. 

A new way of exercising, called plogging( 跑步捡垃圾), is becoming popular around the world.  Actually, picking up the rubbish in the forest o r parks can also keep you fit.
