China is an ancient country with a long history. If you' re interested in Chinese history, Xi' an in Shaanxi Province is a good place (visit). It's a world-famous historic city. Its history can date back to the Han Dynasty. At the time, Liu Bang (make) Xi' an his capital. He gave it the name Chang' an. During the Tang Dynasty, Xi' an achieved its great importance. Korea and Japan followed Xi' an's example in building their ancient capitals.

Tony is staying near Ayers Rock. He took a plane tour over the rock, and he was at how big it was. During different periods of the day, the colours of the rock turn dark blue, purple, yellow and red. Ayers Rock is the centre of Aboriginal culture.

As a little girl, when I heard my sister talk about her life-changing term abroad in Paris, it became my goal to visit it one day. When my daily life in New Jersey seemed boring, I often1 about walking around the streets of Paris. Luckily, with our financial (财务的)situation 2 , European travel wasn't a dream any more.

Have you ever heard of Zhao Jihong? She used to be a famous Chinese sportswoman. She won gold medals for China at the Paralympic Games. 

Zhao Jihong was blind(失明的) when she was born in 1968, After her ability in running and jumping was noticed, she started training. 

As a blind girl, she  a lot while she was training. In April 1984, she went to train in Beijing and Tian Maijiu became her coach. Tian used some special training for her. She often trained hard without having a break even at noon. 

In June 1984, 16-year-old Zhao Jihong was sent to the 7th Summer Paralympic Games in New York. She won a gold medal for China and  the world record in the long jump. She also won medals in other races. In1986, she made a  to work in a factory. She also trained hard. In 1988, she won two gold medals in the 8th Summer Paralympic Games. Chinese people took  in her. She was considered to be a symbol of courage and success in the 1980s.
