My Favorite Sweater

My favorite sweater grew too small. 

I love that sweater best of all. 

My grandma made it when I was three. 

She made that sweater just for me. 

I picked the yarn(毛线), a special blue. 

The color of bluebells(风铃草), wet with dew(露水). 

When I was three I was very small. 

But now I'm twelve and much too tall. 

I have a new jacket now that's green. 

So I gave my sweater to our cat Queen. 

Queen just had kittens(小猫) out in the shed. 

My favorite sweater is now their bed.

After this trip of the fashion history, you can watch how to make clothes in old machines in the Clothes-making Room on the corner of this floor. 

Bernard Shaw wasn't interested in clothes. When he was young, he was too poor to 1 good clothes. When he was 2 , he did not wear good clothes, either. In early days his clothes were 3 old that the colors in the material faded(褪色) over the years. Later in his life he was glad to dress differently from 4 men. When they went out in evening dresses in the evening, Shaw did not. Even when he went to the theater, he was in an old coat. It was made 5 a kind of material that he liked.

One evening he went to see a play in his old coat. At the door of the theater the gatekeeper6 him from entering it. "7 is the matter?" he asked angrily. The man pointed to the old coat. "Don't you like it?" Shaw cried, "If you don't like it, I'll 8 . " A few minutes later, he walked towards his place in the theater 9 the coat, but the man followed him, crying loudly, "Stop! You can't go in like that!"

Shaw's 10 face turned black, "Do you think I'm going to take off any more?"

A: Good morning! Can I help you?

B: Yes, please. I'd like a pair of leather shoes. 

A: What color do you want? We have two colors. 

B: I think I  white to black. 

A: What size do you wear?

B: Size 37. May I try them ?

A: Certainly. 

B: Oh, I'm afraid they are a little  for me. 

A: Here's another pair in size 38. What do you  of them?

B: Oh, good. They are big . I think I'll take them. 

A: Hello, Mrs. Zhang. What are you going to do?

B: I have finished my work. .

A: Would you like to go shopping with me?

B: .

A: You know, my parents love Tang costumes very much. I want to buy some for them. 

B: I hear there is going to be a fashion show in the shopping center. ?

A: Good idea!?

B: Let's make it 9:30.

A: By the way, ?

B: They are made of silk.

A: I see. OK. See you tomorrow. 

B: See you.
