My Eating Habits
When I was a primary school student, my eating habits were not good. I used to eat a lot of junk food like chips, hamburgers and ice cream every day. I hardly ate any vegetables or fruits, and I often skipped breakfast because I didn't want to get up early.
Now I'm a junior high school student, and my eating habits have changed a lot. My mom told me that junk food is bad for my health, so I stopped eating it. Now I eat a balanced diet every day. I have milk and bread for breakfast, rice, vegetables and meat for lunch, and noodles or porridge for dinner. I also eat fruits like apples and bananas every day.
These changes have made me healthier. I have more energy to study and play sports. I also feel happier and more confident. I know that good eating habits are important for my growth.

Table Manners in Western Countries
When eating in Western countries, there are some important table manners you should know. First, you should sit up straight and don't put your elbows on the table while eating. It's impolite to do that.
Second, you should use the forks and knives correctly. Usually, the fork is in your left hand and the knife is in your right hand. When you finish cutting your food, you can put the knife down and use your right hand to hold the fork.
Third, don't talk with your mouth full. It's not only impolite but also unhealthy. You should chew your food slowly and swallow it before speaking.
Fourth, if you don't like a certain food, don't make a face or say it's terrible. Just leave it on your plate quietly.
Finally, remember to say "thank you" to the host or hostess after the meal. It shows your respect.
