Last summer vacation, I had a trip and I will never forget it. Before I left for the place, I thought the trip would be very 1 , because I was going to a seaside town. I didn't think there was anything interesting on the2 . I thought I would feel like coming back home on the first day,3 I was wrong.

Then we went to Universal Studios. I saw many pictures of movie stars from the old days. It was a wonderful 4D movie. 

We visited the San Diego SeaWorld Adventure Park and watched a lot of wonderful shows. After the show, I kissed(亲吻) a dolphin. It was fun!

Then it was time to end my holiday and we had to fly back. I cried when I said goodbye to my dad. I wanted to stay with my dad, but my mum told me that going back to school was more important.

Every year, more than nine million people all over the world come to visit London. They go to the museums and theatres. They look at interesting old buildings or have a drink in a park. 

A quick and easy way to get to different places in the city is to take an underground train. The trains run all day and most of the night. You'd better not take the underground at rush hour because the trains are so crowded that you can hardly move or find a place to sit. 

London's famous red buses form a big part of getting around in London. Although the London Underground is the fastest and easiest way of getting around London, the buses play their part and are an experience you should try at least once. By sitting on the top deck(层) of the bus, you can get a great sightseeing experience of London as well. The buses take you to many of the interesting places in the city on one journey. It takes about one and a half hours, but you can end(结束) your journey and get off(and on again) at different places you want to visit. 

London taxis are called" black cabs". Most of them are black, but some are not. You can stop one if it has a "For Hire(供租用的)" sign on it. The drivers are friendly and helpful. 

In a word, London is a big and beautiful city——with lots to see and do. Welcome to London. 

In our school, all students have their favourite subjects.  . 

In Grades One and Two, students' favourite subject is always Chinese because it's the first language(母语) and it's easy for them.  . They think English is very difficult. 

In Grades Five and Six,  . But they aren't very good at maths. Interesting? Some students think English is boring! And some students don't like science. 

In Grade Seven, English is some students' favourite subject. They say it's fun and easy for them. Some students like Chinese. They think it's useful in their daily life. 

In Grades Eight and Nine, some students like maths best.  . But some students say maths is their least favourite subject because it's too difficult!

Hello! My name is Ye Ying. My favourite subject is maths. For some students, maths is boring. But for me, it's really interesting because I can have great fun in maths class. 

Mr Qiao is our maths teacher. It is Monday today and we have a maths class in the morning. At8:30 a. m. , Mr Qiao comes into the classroom with a "clock". "Look at the'clock'. It's interesting, right? Now I want you to draw a 'clock' like this, but it's different from mine, " he says to us. We all think it is easy and interesting and start to do it. We draw different"clocks". Mr Qiao uses these "clocks "to help us learn maths. And he thinks all of us do very well, so he praises(表扬) us. Then the class ends at 9:20 a. m. 

We have five maths classes a week, three in the morning and two in the afternoon. We're happy to see Mr Qiao every school day.
