Finally, they got to Jingui Village at the foot of Maluan Mountain. This village is 400 years old. . The international students liked walking around the village. Tomoiaga saw a flower called Birdwood's Mucuna. She said"I never saw this flower before. The village is very nice and I had a great time. "

What would you like for lunch? Maybe, a battery (电池)? Although it sounds unusual, some eatable electronic things have been developed by scientists. 

Robofood, a program led by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, has been the pioneer. Together with scientists from Wageningen University, it has made a new drone (无人机). Half of the parts inside can be eaten! The program plans to create robots that can be eaten by mixing food science and robots in a new way. 

According to the scientists, the wings of the drone were made from rice cakes, oil and chocolate. This drone can find missing people and carry food or medicine necessary to them. However, the main problem is finding stronger eatable materials for the drone's wings to prepare for bad weather and high temperatures. 

Robofood also developed an eatable sensor (感应器)to help watch stomach sickness. It's eaten by the patient to check the conditions inside. Different from other sensors nowadays, it can be broken down (降解) in less than 24 hours. This way, there's no danger of it leaving anything inside the body. 

Another invention of Robofood also helps with environmental protection. The world's first fully eatable batteries can help deal with the growing problem of throwing away used batteries. Some parts of the battery are made of vitamin B, and another natural ingredient that can be found in many fruits including apples. So the new battery can be more friendly to the environment. 

Sage Birden, an animal rescuer, said helping animals in need is all about ""being kind". Her animal protection experience in Shanghai began in2014 after she took care of a friend's cat. When the cat left, "a cat-shaped hole" was left in her heart. 

As a "proud" member of Shanghai's animal protection group, Birden remembers one special experience. Volunteers worked together to save a dying kitten in Hangzhou. 

"It was midnight, and the man who found the kitten didn't know what to do. No hospital was open, and there was no vet (兽医) around. There was no way to get the kitten to a safe place, no milk for it. There was nothing. " Birden said. 

"But I don't give up easily. "Birden remembered. She asked other volunteers for help. Then she found a driver and made the driver talk to the man who found the kitten. 

After driving for more than four hours at night, the kitten was finally taken to the person who would take care of it. 

"Everyone was happy and said, 'Yes!' It made us feel that if we work together, we can make it work. "Birden said. 

When talking about why she helps animals in need, Birden said it's about "being kind". 

"Helping animals doesn't mean you have to run after a truck that steals cats and dogs. But in everyday life, if a kitten is crying, at least you can bring it inside to get it dry and warm, and not let it die. " Birden said.

Tea drinking started in China over 4, 0o0 years ago. These days, some people drink tea for health, using it(help) with stress(压力) or losing weight.  most people in tea—drinking countries think of tea as more than just a healthy drink. In fact, tea drinking in some (country) is a part of the culture. In Turkey(土耳其), tea is always there when people meet. Whether in someone's home or a company, tea is used to serve the guests. In UK, homes and offices usually have tea time. Tea and other dishes are served at tea time in the afternoon. It is a way of (relax) with friends or co—workers(同事).

More surprisingly, trees also use sound to talk. People can't hear these sounds, but trees are making them. Some plants make noises with their roots. Some trees make noises when there is not enough water. 

Most surprisingly of all, trees have an "Internet" to give out and get information in a big forest. Scientists call it the "Wood Wide Web"(树联网). The fungi (真菌) underground help build up the "Wood Wide Web" among the roots of different trees. It is just like the Internet we use. Using the "Wood Wide Web", trees can share information and even food with each other. However, it may also be harmful. Some trees may use it to take too much food from others, or give out chemicals to hurt other plants. Perhaps one day scientists will learn how to build a "Great Wall" to help stop these. 

Trees talk to each other in different ways. Now, scientists are learning more about these ways and maybe one day we will be able to "talk" with trees ourselves.
