Hello, I am Elizabeth and I am 25 years old. I live in Oxford and I work as a secretary(秘书): I use the computer, write letters and e-mails, and call a lot of people. 

My day is very busy: I usually get up at 7 o'clock, brush my teeth and get dressed. Then I have breakfast in a café near my house. I always drink a cup of coffee and eat two pieces of bread with butter and jam. At 8 o'clock I meet my friend Anna and we go to work by bus. We arrive at 8:20 and I start working at 8:30. At 1 p. m. I have lunch with Anna and her sister Linda. We usually eat meat, salad and fresh fruit. At 5:30 p. m. , I return home on foot. In the afternoon I do a lot of things: going shopping, washing clothes and walking my dog Lucky. My house is near a beautiful park, so I take Lucky there every day. Then I return home and have dinner. I usually eat a sandwich and a glass of orange juice. Sometimes I have a pizza or noodles. Then I wash the dishes and I watch my favourite programme on TV. At 10:30 p. m. I have a bath and I go to bed. 

Of course I do a lot of other things. Twice a week I do exercise because I want to be healthy — every Friday afternoon I play tennis with my friend Jane and every Monday evening I run in the park. Three evenings a week I play the piano. I do the cleaning once a week and every evening before going to bed, I call my mum. She lives in Berlin, Germany. Every Saturday afternoon I walk around with my friends in the centre of Oxford and then we have dinner together. Sometimes we also take a trip or have a picnic on weekends. 

I think I have a wonderful and happy life. 

During the past two weeks we asked students of all ages about their favorite activities. Our survey (调查) showed that most students spent a lot of time watching TV, chatting on the Internet and playing computer games. It also showed that students had lots of different ways of having fun. Here's what the students said: "I love watching old romantic movies. I sometimes invite my friends around and we watch movies together. We eat popcorn and relax. I also go skating every week. It is a great way to keep fit. " Jenny （aged 14）

"I love playing my drums. I would love to be in a band. I enjoy skateboarding and playing basketball with my friends. Sometimes we go to watch football or basketball matches. Ben (aged 13). 

"At the moment I am spending a lot of my spare time designing and making my own clothes. I love art and my dream is to be a designer. I like lots of sports but my favorite is judo. " Nisha (aged 15)

"I am helping my grandfather to find out about our family history. We are using the Internet and old records to find things out. It's really cool. I'm not very sporty but I love motorcycles. " Tony (aged 15)

Some of my friends think I have a boring daily life, but I like 1 . 

I usually get up at about 6:00 or 6:30 in the morning, after my alarm clock 2 me up. First, I brush my teeth and wash my face. Then, I get3 and go downstairs to have breakfast with my family. I always have coffee, bread and 4 fruit. I take a bus to work because I 5 to drive. I always arrive at my office before 8:00. I'm never 6 for work. 

Five o'clock is my favourite time of the day 7 I finish work and go back home to see my family again. I have two kids, Thomas and Patrick. Thomas is six years old and Patrick is eight. We have dinner together in 8 dining room at around 6:00 p. m. After that I usually stay 9 my wife and kids at home. We really enjoy 10 our favourite TV programmes together. We like to watch shows 11 travel. 

However, two or three times a week I 12 exercise in the evening, so I can stay strong and healthy. I think it is very important! 13 , at 9:30 p. m. , I go to bed, read for a while, and then fall asleep. 

Of course, some people think my daily life is not fun, but on weekends and holidays I 14 going travelling with my family! It's 15 favourite hobby.

One morning, she saw a small notice near the house. It said, "Do cleaning for two hundred dollars  hour. Call Mrs Wang at 4571234. "Mrs White looked around. "Nobody is here, " she said. "That's good. " Then she wrote under the notice, "I do cleaning for (something). Don't telephone me!"
