I'm Lucy. I have a hobby of collecting postcards. I started collecting postcards when I was ten years old. I have more than 200 postcards now. They are from different places around the world. Some are from my friends who travel to different countries. Some are from my pen - pals.

Each postcard has a special meaning for me. Some have beautiful pictures of famous places, like the Eiffel Tower in France or the Great Wall in China. Some show different festivals and cultures. I like to look at the postcards in my free time. It's like traveling around the world. I can learn about different countries and their cultures from these postcards.

My mother also has a hobby. She likes gardening. She plants many flowers in our garden. She spends a lot of time looking after them. When the flowers bloom, our garden looks really beautiful. It's a great place to relax.

I'm John. I have many hobbies, but my favorite hobby is reading. I love reading different kinds of books, such as storybooks, science books and history books. Reading makes me know a lot about the world. I can learn about different cultures, people's lives and interesting things from books.

I usually read books in my free time. Sometimes I read before going to bed. It helps me relax and fall asleep easily. I also like to go to the library. There are so many wonderful books there. I can borrow some books to read at home.

My best friend Tom has a different hobby. He likes playing basketball. He is good at it and he is on the school basketball team. He often plays basketball after school. He thinks playing basketball is exciting and it can make him strong. We often talk about our hobbies and share our experiences.

Why don't you start a hobby? There are many hobbies you can enjoy. One of the best hobbies is collecting (收集). People collect many things. 

Stones are fun to collect. You don't have to go very far to find them. Very often you can find them just under your feet. You may have to dig (挖) a little. Some stones are pretty. Some stones are very expensive. 

People often like to collect buttons. Some like old buttons (纽扣). Others collect new ones. Buttons can be made of wood, glass, shells—almost anything. Some buttons are large and others are small. Some have pictures on them. Others do not. There are many different kinds. It's so much fun collecting buttons. 

Some people collect signatures (签名). They get their friends to write their names. Other people collect the signatures of famous people. Everyone writes names in a different way. Some names are not always easy to read. Different writings make signature collecting a lot of fun.

Lots of people are good at something when they are young. And quite a lot of children know what job they want  (choose) when they grow up. But not everyone opens their own company. This is what Isabella Rose Taylor did. She started  (design) clothes when she was eight years old.

At the time, Isabella was  (interest) in painting. She used a lot of reds, blues and yellows, and these  (colour) helped her to think of new clothes which she could make.

When Isabella started designing and making clothes, she just did it for fun. Soon many people liked her designs and she started selling them online,  she has a company now. She runs her business at home. She has turned one room into  office and another into a studio (工作室) where the clothes are made. As a designer, she often takes part in different fashion  (show) to bring her creative designs to public attention.

Isabella has also paid time to finish school. She's smart, and she has thousands fans online. It's wonderful that she has already had people who work for her. Above all, she  (real) knows what is needed to succeed in the world of fashion.
