English is an important language (重要的语言) in the world. 

Many boys and girls start to learn (学习) English when they are six years old in China, but some find it difficult to learn English well. That is because they don't learn it in the right way. I think reading is very important to us. Reading aloud is helpful (有帮助的) for us to improve listening, speaking and writing. 

Reading English aloud can help you speak clearly. You can read anywhere when you are free. You can also get a lot of knowledge (知识) during reading. When you need to share your ideas, you can speak or write. 

So if you want to learn English well, you should read more. It's a very good way. 

Remembering (记住) words is difficult but I think I can help you. Are you ready  (listen) to my advice?

Remember that your body has five senses (感觉). You can see, hear, smell, taste and touch. You can not use all five senses  you can not taste or smell a word. However,  (use) your other three senses can help. When you read a word, do not just read it to yourself. Read it aloud! Then you are seeing the word and hearing the word when you say it. So, those  (be) two senses. Where is the last one? Well, you touch the word when you say it. Your mouth is making the word. So, say the word loudly!

Dictionaries (字典) are  (real) useful! But when you are learning new words, try to remember them with pictures. Do not just remember the translation (翻译) for "run". Look carefully  a picture and say the word three times! You can use a picture dictionary, make all  (kind) of cards or just read comic books. Try to remember the words as you look at the pictures. 

For me, I hear English on TV or watch English  (video). I always carry  little notebook. In this way, I can write down new words to ask my teacher about or to look up in the dictionary later. 

I hope you  (do) better in remembering words!

Some boys and girls don't like maths because they think it's boring and difficult. They usually  lots of time on it but it doesn't work. Here are some  ideas for you to help you learn maths well. 

Listen to teachers well in all your maths . This is an  learning habit (学习习惯). You can also ask your maths teacher to help you  you have problems in class. 

Your maths teacher isn't always with you. You can ask  classmate when you find a maths problem is too difficult and you can't work it out. He or she can be  happy to help you. 

Do you want to be good  maths? Do math exercises every day. It  time. You can't learn it well in a day. 

Maths is difficult  interesting. It feels like magic. Let's do our best (尽力) to learn the subject well. 

My name is David. I'm a student from China. Different colours have different meanings in Chinese culture (文化). 

Anna lives with her grandparents and parents. In her house, there are many red things, like red desks and chairs.  They want red things to bring good luck to them. 

Lily likes green best, so she buys many green plants for her house.  Sitting around the plants is like sitting in a nature park. It makes her feel fresh (清新的). 

Kevin's house is a little different. We can only see white things in it. White colour looks clean.  Kevin's parents use white colour to make the house look clean. 

 There is a white table, yellow chairs, a blue bookcase and so on. These things make my house colourful and beautiful.
