Please follow these rules to keep safe in the pool. 

*Put all your own things such as your money, mobile phone and keys into a locker(存物柜) before you go swimming. 

*Have a shower before you go into the water.This helps us to keep the pool as clean as possible. 

*Don't jump  or dive into the swimming pool. The water is not deep and you may hurt yourself. 

* Use the ladders( 梯 子 )to climb out of the pool. It is the safest way to get out. 

*Listen to the  instructions from the  lifeguards. The advice they  give is for your own safety.

Ivan often stays at home alone because his parents are very busy. Last Saturday, Ivan's grandpa visited Ivan and showed him how to make a kite. 

"Ivan, we need some paper, a few sticks and a roll of string( 线 )to make a kite, " said Grandpa. Ivan followed the steps and made his first kite. Then they went to the park and flew the kite together. 

After that, Grandpa told Ivan about what he liked and disliked. 

"When I was young, I liked hiking and fishing. Nowadays, children play lots of games on the computer. It is bad for their health, "said Grandpa. 

Ivan spent a lovely day with Grandpa. He hopes to see him again soon. 

Sports are fun and good for our health. But we may meet some small dangers when playing. 

Before doing sports, we must warm up our bodies. If not, we may hurt our legs or arms. When running or playing games, do not run too  fast. If you fall down, don't stand up  at once. Ask teachers or parents for help. 

It's important to drink water. We should also wear safe gear(装备) when riding. If you feel tired or uncomfortable, stop doing sports right away. Keep safe, and you can enjoy sports happily.

Dear my foreign(外国的) friend, 

I'm Lin Tao, a student from China. I am in Grade Four. I love music very much. Today I want to tell you about some great traditional Chinese musical instruments. They are all very  popular in China. 

The first one is erhu. It is a Chinese  string ( 弦 )instrument . It has two strings. It can make beautiful sounds, just like people singing. Many great musicians(音乐家)can play it very well. 

The second onc is pipa. It looks like a big pear. It has four strings. We play it with our hands. Lots of Chinese children learn to play it at school. 

The third one is a bamboo flute. We also call it dizi. It is long and thin. It is made of bamboo. You blow it to make soft and nice sounds. It is easy to carry. 

The last one is the Chinese drum. It is big and round. We hit it with two small sticks. It makcs loud and happy sounds. We often play it at the Spring Festival and other big parties. 

These instruments are important parts of Chinese culture ( 文化). I hope you can like them and know more about China.
