Working Together on the Class Poster
Last week, our class had a group task. Each team needed to make an English poster. Lily's job was to draw pictures, and Tom was supposed to bring coloured paper and markers. However, they had a big argument one day before they had to hand in the work.
Tom brought paper in the wrong colours. Lily was very angry and spoke loudly to Tom in front of the whole team. Tom felt sad and walked away. In fact, he only had those colours at home, and he tried his best to get everything ready.
Later, their monitor(班长)Amy told them to sit down and talk nicely. Lily said she was too worried about the poster and should not have spoken to Tom rudely in front of others. Tom said he should have told Lily about his problem earlier instead of keeping it to himself. They both said sorry to each other and found a way to make the poster nice with the paper they had.
In the end, the teacher praised their poster. They learned that talking politely is much better than shouting and that understanding each other helps fix problems quickly.
