In China, there are many traditional festivals in a year.

Dragon Boat Festival is usually in June. People usually eat zongzi and watch dragon boat races. It is in memory of (为了纪念) Qu Yuan.

Mid-Autumn Festival is usually in September or October. People can enjoy the moon and eat mooncakes. People always tell the story of Chang'e.

Chinese New Year is the most important festival in China. It's always in January or February. People usually paste couplets on the doors before the festival. People have a big dinner with family. Children always get lucky money and hear (听见) the story of Nian.

These traditional festivals are fun, and they show the rich culture of China.

In many places, there are four seasons in a year. Each season has its own features.

Spring is a time of new life. The weather starts to get warm. The grass comes out from the ground, and trees turn green. Beautiful flowers bloom everywhere. People often go outside to plant trees and have picnics in the park.

Summer arrives after spring. It is the hottest season of the year. The sun shines brightly. People like swimming in the pool or playing on the beach. Children like to eat delicious ice cream. Many families like to go on vacations during summer.

Then comes autumn. The air turns cool. The leaves on the trees turn yellow and start to fall down. It is a season of harvest (收获). Farmers are busy, because they gather their crops. People also love to have a trip and enjoy the colorful scenery.

Winter is the last season. It is cold, and sometimes it snows. The world becomes white and beautiful. Children love this season because they can make snowmen and have snowball fights. Old people like to stay at home, drink tea and enjoy the warmth inside.

Each season is special and brings us a lot of fun.
