Daily Habits of Naturally Productive People

When it comes to being more efficient at your job, you know the basics. But research shows a whole new side of productivity you may not have realized.

    Focus on being happier.

Even if a low mood does not completely disable you from functioning, it can decrease your productivity to make you far less efficient. Also, don't hesitate to seek help. This will not only help you achieve a more stable work-life balance, but a new outlook can also open you up to new opportunities and necessary changes.

    Prioritize fitness.

You know the countless benefits of exercise. Even 30-minute bursts of moderate-to-high physical activity just three to four times a day can go a long way in helping you accomplish your personal and professional goals. If you're really not a fan of the gym, join a group class to keep yourself motivated.

Pressing pause is important. Studies show that prolonged tasks that require high levels of focus, energy, and attention can cause you to become less productive and focused over time. Take brief mental breaks. When we take 'health breaks' we are much more focused and engaged for our next work, in contrast, when we try to work continually on a project without breaks our quality of work tends to deteriorate.

Don't try to do everything at once.

People believe the more we can do at once, the better.  In fact, the more we multitask, the less efficient and productive we become. Instead, to increase productivity, focus on one task at a time until it's completed and then give all of your attention to the next task.

    A. Make productivity first.

    B. Take breaks at times.

    C. However, research shows the opposite.

    D. Studies found happier people are more productive.

    E. It improves your mood and increase your brain's productivity.

    F. Have a look at these habits of naturally productive people.

    G. Researches show that daylight exposure improves your levels of activity.

With the invention of the Internet, humanity is now experiencing an adventure toward technological advancement. Nowadays, technology assists us with everyday tasks such as driving, grocery shopping and even dating. Technology is so closely connected to our lives that it's easy to overlook one important question: When technology really starts to control the world around us, what comes next?

Many experts and workers are scared that automation will take jobs from people who need them and give those jobs to robots. I understand their concern. However, if robots are outperforming us at our jobs, then what do humans have left to offer? We have the emotions and imagination that make us human. A machine might work faster than a person, but that's because humans built the machines that way. That, itself, is an amazing accomplishment of the human imagination. We are talented, passionate creatures, who do not deserve to be trapped in miserable jobs anymore!

By now, I hope you're curious to hear which occupations we should focus on in the future. The obvious answer is jobs in technology and robotics. Tech-related jobs will continue to be in big demand, and people who work in these fields will continue to become more important. We should be grateful to them for doing work to take us higher as a society. Besides, we should also focus on jobs in the arts and entertainment. It may sound crazy, but what could better reflect the creativity of the human mind than the arts? I believe technology has opened up our world, allowing us to share our imaginations with everyone!

So, we must ensure that future generations know that we mean it when we say, "follow your dreams. " Welcome to the 21st century: what a time to be alive! There has never been a better time to be yourself, and I can only see it getting even better from here.

Before winning the Nobel Prize, Lefkowitz did countless experiments, and only 1 out of 50 turned out OK. "With difficult decisions I've had to make, I tend to make them with my heart rather than my head. " Lefkowitz said. "However, I don't mean that deciding with your heart is always right. "

How to Be Fruitful During Hard Times

When we are fighting tooth and nail, or when we have difficulty concentrating, we may turn to others for help. We may even wish we had a hero to help us. Well, today here is some advice for you.

Turn ourselves into our own heroes.

When we make ourselves heroes, we not only gain focus but also a sense of purpose. For example, it can give us hope as stories in the books often do. In stories, writers often give their hero, the main person in the story, a purpose.

Write out our tasks and ideas.

In stories, heroes also have tasks, which they want to finish, and ideas, which they see for themselves. So we can write out our tasks and ideas, not just for a project but for our life as well. With clear tasks and ideas, events. in our life no longer seem to be separate events. There's just a lot of value in having tasks and ideas.

When we know our strengths, we can use them fully. In difficult times, we can make our life easier by focusing on our strengths. It is even more important to identify weaknesses. All heroes have them. On their journey they face their weaknesses and learn from them.

Have small goals within a larger goal.

As we know, the hero's journey is not a one-time thing. It is a journey we are on in our entire life. Our life's journey is ongoing and ever-changing. We should be realistic with our goals and to be kind to ourselves, especially during difficult times.

    A. Learn from heroes in stories.

    B. Know our strengths and weaknesses.

    C. We often live a life without purpose.

    D. They become part of our larger stories.

    E. So have small goals that we can measure in some way.

    F. We can do the same for ourselves and identify our purposes.

    G. Making ourselves the heroes in our own stories helps us in many ways.

    Not Even Wrong

My eight-year-old son, lack, is a boy with autism(孤独症). Even though I always hear from others that he is very bright and he is making enough progress to meet goals, I am still anxious walking into their parents' meetings.

Last fall's parents' meeting was even worse for me. I noticed Jack making a great effort to keep up with others. Some parents watched Jack and whispered(窃窃私语) and no children were willing to play with him. I started to see the social divide between Jack and his peers(同龄人) widening.

After the parents' meeting, his teacher spent long time talking to me. She told me that it was getting more difficult for Jack to meet goals just because he was bright. Some teachers and students always complained(抱怨)about Jack's actions. She also advised me to think about whether the normal class was the best setting for him. Hearing these words, I was very upset.

Then she blew my mind. She showed me one example of Jack's works and said,"I didn't know how to grade this. It's not oven wrong, but it's not right. "I grasped when she said"not even wrong",which is the name of one of my favorite books on autism, by Paul Collins. The book says a girl whose idea is so far off base but it is not even wrong. It perfectly describes autism and it perfectly describes Jack.

In his book, Paul Collins wrote,"Children with autism are like the square pegs(钉,桩). Hitting a square peg into a round hole is hard work. What's worse, it's destroying the square pegs. "

As a mother of a boy with autism, I want to help find more square holes. I want this world to be a world where it is okay to be a square peg without having to pretend to be round. We have been hammering(锤打) square pegs into round holes for a long time. Now we should put down the hammers. And I hope that some of those kids told their parents. And I hope that some of you read this and tell your kids. And I hope that we, all of us together, CAN change the world.
