Seasons Around the World
In different parts of the world, seasons are not the same. In China, there are four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Spring is from March to May. It is warm and rainy. Summer is from June to August. It is hot and sunny. Autumn is from September to November. It is cool and windy. Winter is from December to February. It is cold and snowy.
But in Australia, seasons are opposite to China. When it is summer in China, it is winter in Australia. People in Australia enjoy Christmas in summer! In some tropical countries like Thailand, there are only two seasons: the rainy season and the dry season.
