We all know Chinese food is quite different from Western food. Chinese people like eating rice or noodles, but western people eat bread. Chinese people use chopsticks and bowls but in the West, people usually eat their meals on a plate with a knife and fork. 

But do you know that people in China have different tastes, too? People from Guangzhou, for example, e joy sweet and sour food most. They also eat plenty of delicious dim sum. In Beijing, people eat more nod les, pancakes and dumplings. They also like salty food. People from Hunan, love hot food. Some people think it's too hot and tastes terrible. But I love Hunan food!

Lingling is 12 years old. She has a cough. Her parents take her to the hospital. The doctor gives her some cough medicine. 

July 31, 2020 was a big day for China. On that day, China's first global navigation satellite system(全球卫星导航系统) , Beidou, started its full—scale work. With as many as 59 satellites, Beidou has"sharp eyes". These satellites fly around the Earth. They can "see" rivers, forests and mountains. They can"see" houses and schools. Of course, they can "see" you, too! Beidou can help people find their way. It can give orders to driver les cars. It can help people in danger. Beidou is there to keep us safe and bring us convenience. 

Wang Yaping is China's first "space1 ". Before she flew into space, she had 60 lessons and 140 hard training sessions. She studied very2 . In 2013, she flew into space. She3 15 days in space and did a4 of work. She also gave a live lecture in space. After she came back, she told us about her space5 and helped other taikonauts. We are very proud of her. 

Our city is not always clean. Many years ago, it was in a  and very dirty. What made our city dirty? Smoke from cars made the air dirty. Black smoke from factories made the air dirty too. Rubbish made the street and the river dirty. What can we do to  our city clean? We can take the bus and the metro to school. We can put rubbish . We can plant more trees. A clean city makes us happy and . Let's keep our city clean.
