Last weekend everyone was busy. We were getting ready for our camping trip.

Soon everything was ready. We jumped into the camper van (野营车) and started our trip.

The first day was great. We drove through the forest (森林). When we got to the campsite (营地), we rode our bikes and went swimming.

On the second day we went fishing. It was lovely to eat fresh food.

But on the third day, there was a problem.

Dad said he could smell something.

Mum said she could see something.

The smell of burning (燃烧) got stronger. The sky turned black then orange. It was a forest fire (火). Mum drove fast. The fire went faster. Black smoke (烟) was everywhere.

Suddenly a burning tree fell across the road. How dangerous! And I could see something in the tree. Dad got out of the van and quickly picked up a little koala. It was hurt.

Fire was everywhere. Mum drove faster and faster to escape (逃离) the fire. Soon we were safe. But we were very worried about the koala.

We took it to an animal hospital. The vet put a bandage (绷带) on its leg. The koala was OK. But it wasn't strong enough to go back to the forest. So we took it home.

After a week, the koala's leg was better. Then we drove back to the forest. I was sad to say goodbye to the koala. But all the animals were going back to the forest.

It was a long journey (路程) home. We were all sad. But look what I found in the van… the little koala!

Bill is a fat boy. He likes eating sweet, oily food and fast food. He is the 1 boy in his class. He has no friend because he is too fat. He wants to keep a good diet, 2 he is going to take more exercise and 3 running every day. Three months 4 , Bill is 5 than before. He thinks he can do anything if he works hard.

Hello, I'm Tom. I had a nice day. I got up just before 6 o'clock this morning. I went to my friend Lily's house to meet her. Then we went to the train station. We got on the train to Hong Kong at 8: 30 a.m. We arrived in Hong Kong at the train station at 10: 30 a.m. We went to Tsim Sha Tsui first to go shopping and had a big lunch. I was so hungry! After lunch Lily and I went to Hong Kong Island. Then we went on a bus to go to Ocean Park. We travelled around the park on a cable car (缆车). I was very afraid but it was fun! We were there for four hours. We watched the sea animals.

After visiting Ocean Park we had dinner at the Peak (山顶). From the Peak you can see the great view(风景)of Hong Kong. It is very beautiful at night time because we can see all the beautiful city lights. When we finished dinner, Lily and I went back to the train station by bus so we could travel back to Guangzhou. I was very tired.

We got back home very late at night but I felt very happy.

My name is Xiaoling. My hometown (家乡) is in a small village in Guangxi. Last week, I went back to the village to see my grandfather. I found many changes of my hometown. The road was narrow (狭窄的) and dirty before. But now it is wide and clean. There was no shop in the village. People had to go a long way to buy things. But now there are some small stores and a supermarket. There are so many trees on the hills near the village. But there were only a few before. And the river beside the village is clean now, but it was dirty before. My grandfather was strong and healthy before. But he is weak (瘦弱的) and thin now. I should go back home to see him more often and buy him more good food.

Mike is a teacher. He goes to school  and goes back home late every day. He thinks it's  to stay with his students. He has lessons with his students in the morning. He has lunch with his students at noon. He plays sports with his students in the afternoon. He often says to the children, "Be  when you play sports. Don't get hurt." After school, Mike and his students clean the classroom together. They try to keep the classroom clean and . Mike enjoys the time with his students. He likes his  life very much.
