In Xizang, there is a tree. It's very very tall. It is about 83.4metres tall! It is the tallest tree in China. Chinese scientists measured it. How did they measure this tall tree?

①Scientists climbed to the top of the tree. It took them seven to eight hours to climb to the top.

②They lowered a metal tape(金属卷尺) to the ground. The metal tape is 100 metres long.

They also found the tree is about 380 years old. It is still healthy.

Scientists used a drone(无人机) to take photos of the tree. It took more than 160photos. By putting the photos together, scientists got a full-size photo of the tree!
