Underwater farm:Can we plant things under the water? Yes. There is a special farm. People put some big plastic balls（塑料球）under the water. They plant tomatoes and beans in them. 

Space farm:Look! This is a space farm. Astronauts grow some potatoes and rice in the space capsule（太空舱）. They grow under LED lights. They raise fish too. Space farms can give astronauts fresh food.

The food on your table doesn't grow in a shop. It grows on a farm. Look at my farm. I plant red tomatoes, green cucumbers and orange carrots. I have three little ducks. The chickens are next to them. There are two cows near the bees. I have twenty sheep too. These animals give us food. Cows give us milk. Chickens and ducks give us eggs. Pigs and chickens also give us meat. Farmers collect（收集）these things. 

After that, drivers take fresh food from farms to shops. You don't have to go to the farm to get food. Shop workers keep the food fresh. Then, you buy the healthy food and eat it at the table! Think about where your food comes from!

This is my uncle's large farm. There are many animals and plants. A lot of food comes from his farm: milk, eggs, meat, fruit and vegetables. These foods give us energy to have fun and study. 

In the plant area（区域）, he grows plants like corn, potatoes, tomatoes, rice and carrots. He waters these vegetables every week. 

In the animal area, he raises animals like sheep, cows, chickens and horses. Cows have different colours—black and white, red and white. They can give milk. We can also ride horses and run fast. 

Remember, plants take months to grow and animals take years. Don't waste food!
