Once there lived a wise man who was respected  by  everyone. His  son, however, was very lazy and did nothing all day and all  . The wise man was worried about his son's future. One day, he said to his son, "There was some treasure in a faraway place. I want you to find alone. I  have  drawn a map to guide you." Then he handed his son a bag. Inside the bag were clothes, some food, a little money and the map.

His son set out on his long journey the next day. He had to travel across forests, rivers and mountains.Along the way, he (help) by some with food and by some with shelter( 住 所). He came across robbers(强盗) who tried to rob him.He also saw changing scenery(风景) and  seasons.Finally, after a long  year, he reached the place his father said. He met the same people who had helped him  (early). This time, he helped them in return.

After he reached home, he apologized to his father  he didn't find the treasure. "There wasn't any treasure in the very first place, my son," the father answered  a smile. "But I think you have found your life's true treasure."

Sam is a boy from Xi'an.He is a middle school student and his school life is very(interested).He goes to  school Monday to Friday.He has four lessons in the morning.The (one) lesson begins at 8:00.In the afternoon,he has English,music and some other (subject).Music is (he)favourite.

One way to get rid of the(pollute)air is to build a new kind of car. That's what several of the large car factories are trying to do now.But it is easier said than  (do)to build a clean car.Progress in this field has been slow.

Another way is to take place of the car engine by something else.Engineers are working on some new cars.Many makers believe that it will take years to develop a practical model that pleases man.

But this change does not come (easy)—a large number of workers may find themselves without jobs if a car factory closes down.And the problem of air pollution would become (important)than that of unemployment.

 cars have brought us a better life,they have also brought us new problems.
