Science research isn't always serious. In fact, sometimes it is quite silly. And it's this silly research  the Ig Nobel Prize celebrates. Awarded since 1991, the Ig Nobel Prize reminds us that science can be fun too. 

Here are some (example) that let us see what the Ig Nobel committee stands for. In 2007, its linguistics (语言学的) award was given to three researchers (prove) that rats couldn't tell the differences between Dutch spoken backward and Japanese spoken backward. Two years ago, a biologist who wrote a book (base) on his experience collecting dead and almost dead flies was awarded for his work. As for this year, one winner wrote a paper on how to create a cleaning product  means of human saliva (唾液). 

Every year there is a ceremony  the winners receive their awards. It (official) begins when the audience is told to throw paper airplanes at the stage. Then the winners are given the chance to summarize (they) research in 60 seconds. The ceremony (become) mature over the years. 

So, as we can see, the awards aren't just given for  most scientifically important things in the world. But then again, what's more important than having fun?

I am a native of Shenyang, China. I had my first book published at age 18. The book 1 my experiences as an international student attending high school in the state of Washington.

I experienced a significant 2 when I first came to the United States, and writing became my treatment, a way of self-healing and a 3 to explore my own identity.

I remember struggling at first to 4 the culture of Burien, Washington. Nobody told me how to 5 myself, so I used all kinds of activities to fill up my time. Yet the more activities I participated in, the deeper the 6 grew. I was always trying to 7 to everyone the best version of myself, but I felt lost inside.

Then I started writing my weekly thoughts in my blog. I discovered a deeper understanding of myself and this new world around me. The blog 8 turned into my book published in China I then decided to donate all the book sale income to 9 other students 

In 2015 the Reading Fund was born. Driven by the belief that nothing is more 10 than an educated mind, I established the charity 11 to provide educational books and resources for12 students in China and other countries. I had the 13 to enjoy good educational resources, but my 14 in the countryside need to walk miles to go to a school without 15 educational resources.

What to Do When You Fail in Life

Most people are afraid of failure. The truth is that everyone, including all successful people, has ever failed time after time and will fail again. .

Learn from it

No matter how hard you try to avoid (避免，逃避) it, failure will happen. Having a "no fear" attitude towards failure does not mean you should expect to fail, but accept it when it happens.  Failure makes us rethink, reconsider, and find new ways and strategies to achieve our goals. Through failure, we will get to know ourselves better.

Stop fearing it

 You are supposed to push yourself to go to the limits. When you have a no-fear attitude and accept failure willingly, your determination can be made the best use of.

Let go of your self-worth

When your self-worth is in charge, you will not learn from the mistakes you have made, be open to other people's views or see the situations clearly.  We need to learn, evaluate, and listen to other people if we want to see what needs to change in order to succeed.

Improve your mood (情绪) and cheer up again

We all feel upset after having failed, which is natural, human, and unavoidable. But how we respond to our failures is what decides our road to success. One way of improving your mood is listing the things you are grateful for at the moment, which will strengthen your positive emotions. .

C. The ordinary people experience failure, too.

D. It always tends to get in the way of you and your success.

E. In order to reach your personal best, you don't need to fear failure.

F. So do not be afraid of failure, which is a part of your road to success.
