Have you ever heard of Hua Zhibing? She's a special student with special backgrounds. Believe it or not, Hua Zhibing is an AI（人工智能）produced by Tsinghua University and other companies. Don't look down on her. She looks pretty as well as knowledgeable. With the voice as sweet as singers, who can imagine that she's also good at computer programming? It's a big success in AI field. 众所周知，成功需要大量的天赋和努力。It is reported that behind Hua Zhibing, there is a team made up of many scientists who stay up to midnight every day for a whole year. The scientists in the team are divided into many groups to make her perfect. They're still trying their best to realize their dreams.

As young students, we have lots of dreams. These dreams can be quite big, such as becoming a well-known scientist; they can be small, such as being one of the best students in our class. It's the biggest challenge for us to realize our dreams. But即使我们可能会遇到很多挑战，我们绝不放弃梦想。We should learn from the scientists in Tsinghua University, only in this way can we achieve our dreams.

People with social anxiety (焦虑) may easily communicate with family members and close friends. But meeting new friends, talking in public can make them very shy and nervous.  But when people feel so anxious that it stops them from speaking up or communicating with others most of the time, it's probably more than shyness. It may be a kind of social anxiety.

Dealing with social anxiety takes patience and courage to face fears and try new things.  Because each small step forward helps you become strong enough to take the next small step. As shyness and fears begin to disappear, sense of confidence (自信) builds.  People can follow these methods.

Firstly, work on your self-worth.  Do your best to stop comparing yourself with others and give yourself a little self-love.

Secondly, start smiling and use a welcoming body language. Remember to give others a hug when you meet them. Stop looking at your phone all the time, but keep looking in his eyes when he is talking something to you.

Lastly, just be yourself. Take every chance to hang out with new people and those you like.

Useless Life

 A farmer got so old that he couldn't work in the fields anymore. So he would spend the day just  (sit) on the porch. His son, still working on the farm, would look up from time to time and see his father sitting there. "He isn't  (use) anymore," the son thought to  (he). "He doesn't do anything!"

 One day the son got so frustrated by this  he built a wood coffin (棺材), dragged it over to the porch, and told his father to get in. Without  (say) anything, the father climbed inside. After closing the lid, the son drew the coffin to the edge of the farm  there was a high cliff. As he approached the drop, he heard  light tapping on the lid from inside the coffin.

 He opened it up. Still lying there  (peace), the father looked up at his son. "I know you are going to throw me over the cliff, but before you do, may I suggest something?" "What is it?"  (reply) the son. "Throw me over the cliff, if you like," said the father, "but save this good wood coffin. Your  might need to use it."

One cold day last November, my wife and I came home from work to attend their sick young daughter and we decided to stay at home for the night. Problem was, we had two tickets to see Miranda July, the performance artist, being interviewed at the Herbst Theatre. We decided to sell them online for＄50. One hour before the event, a guy named Peter called me and said he wanted to buy the tickets. Since the time was limited, I told Peter to pay me the next day. Peter seemed touched and we said a fond goodbye.

However, a month later, Peter still didn't pay me back. A few more weeks passed. Another month. There had been one e﹣mail promising to mail the check, then silence.

Maybe he was having a hard time, I thought. But truth was, Peter seemed to be having a pretty normal time. According to the pictures and messages on his Facebook, he had been playing golf, dancing happily with his friends, and traveling on a boat. But he just refused to answer my calls, or reply to my e﹣mails or messages. So I tried reaching him with my wife's phone one night. And he didn't pick up when I called, but texted right back, playfully wondering who might be calling him.

"You should go to his office," my wife said, "He would have to give you the money if all his coworkers were watching."

But I didn't want to become a debt collector. My efforts to reach Peter over these months had been light and I wanted to keep it that way. My initial exchange with Peter had been just two regular people agreeing to handle things humanly. There was a rare niceness in that, and I still wanted to keep that balloon in the air, however disappointing it was starting to look. I wanted to believe we could still trust each other.

 The Lorax, by Dr Seuss

 A young boy learns of the role of the Lorax as protector of the trees, and how his home became polluted. The book contains memorable forestry conservation (森林保护).
