The Feynman Technique(费曼学习法)is a powerful method that you can use to learn anything faster because it forces you to actively think about the problem instead of passively reading or listening to someone else talk about it. You can take the following five simple steps to study better.
·Find out the topic you want to learn. Otherwise, you'll end up jumping between topics without developing a deeper understanding of any of them.
·Explain the topic as if teaching a sixth-grader. This step is the heart of the FeynmanTechnique—.This requires you to meet the child at their level of understanding by using the simplest way.
.Identify areas of improvement in your explanation. You'll need to critically(批判性地)review the explanation you cane up with in Step Two . Try to find any knowledge gaps, together with any areas where you felt that you couldn't explain the topic simply.
·Improve and optimiez(优化) your explanation. Think about all the knowledge gaps and otherareas of improvement you found before.
· Repeat the steps until you've achieved mastery of the topic. Keep going through each step you're fully satisfied with your explanation., and that is why going through all the prior snnjust once is usually not enough to achieve topic mastery.
A. Use those to improve your explanation
B. To do so, take a critical look at your explanation
C. Make sure that your explanation is interest-based
D. Your explanations need to be short and to the point
E. The Feynman Technique works best with a repeat
F. It's important that you clearly know the topics you're trying to learn
G. Explaining the topic simply enough to be understood by a sixth-grade student

A lunar crystal (水晶) was found in lunar basalt particles (玄武岩颗粒) collected from the moon in 2020 when the Chinese moon mission landed in Oceanus Procellarum, returning with more than 1.7 kg of lunar samples delivered safely to the Earth.
The crystal found on the near side of the moon is giving scientists hope of providing limitless power for the world forever. It is made of material previously unknown to the scientific community and contains a key ingredient for the nuclear fusion (核聚变) process, a form of power generation that uses the same forces that fuel the sun and other stars. It is transparent and roughly the width of a single human hair, and it formed in a region of the moon where volcanoes were active around 1.2 billion years ago.
One of the primary ingredients found in this crystal is helium-3 (氦-3) , which scientists believe may provide a stable fuel source for nuclear fusion reactors. The element is incredibly rare on the Earth, but it seems to be fairly common on the moon. China's next moon mission is expected to be carried out by Chang'e 6 in 2024, which will attempt to collect the first samples from the far side of the moon, which never faces the Earth.
Although it is too early for scientists to have made financial estimates on such a fuel source, it will undoubtedly be extremely costly. There is, of course, the matter of bringing the crystals back from the moon, especially in large amounts that are needed to fuel fusion reactors.
Helium-3 produces significantly less radiation and nuclear waste than other elements. The current nuclear fusion process has raised serious safety concerns, and as a result, scientists have been searching for a way to create nuclear power from nuclear fusion. During the fusion process, radioactive waste is not produced, potentially making a securer and more efficient fuel source.
Around 25 tons of helium-3 could power the US for a year. Multiple private companies and countries with space agencies have signaled their intentions to mine the moon for helium-3, and this latest discovery could kick start the race.
(1)、What can we learn about the crystal?A、It is 1.7 centimeters wide. B、It is expected to power the Earth. C、It is commonly found on the Earth. D、It is made of previously familiar material.(2)、What will Chang'e 6 try to do in the next moon mission?A、Collect up nuclear waste. B、Find out the elements of helium-3. C、Set up lunar nuclear fusion reactors. D、Take back the samples of lunar crystals.(3)、What is helium-3 as fuel expected to be like?A、It is low in cost. B、It is clean and safe. C、It absorbs radiation. D、It produces no waste.(4)、What is the best title for the text?A、A Struggling Race to Make Crystals B、An Undoubted Discovery Powering the US C、An Efficient Way to Collect Crystals from the Moon D、A Rare Moon Crystal Discovered by Chinese Scientists -

The Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), China's leading aircraft maker, created the country's first fully solar-powered drone (无人机). The large drone, Qimingxing 50, took off at 5:50 pm on September 3rd, 2022, from an airport in Yulin of Shaanxi Province and stayed in the air for 26 minutes before landing on the same runway. AVIC said that all systems of the unmanned plane functioned well on its first flight.
Powered by six electric motors with solar batteries, the drone is designed to conduct long-time operations in near space. Near space is that part of Earth's atmosphere at altitudes of 20 to 100 kilometers. It is above the top altitudes of commercial airliners but below orbiting satellites.
Qimingxing 50, also called "quasi-satellite", features high operational efficiency and eco-friendliness and will be tasked with high-altitude reconnaissance (侦察), forestry fire monitoring, atmospheric environmental inspection, aerial mapping, communication signal relay and other operations.
"Thanks to its capability to conduct very long endurance flights in near space, the drone can essentially become a substitute for satellites," a Chinese aerospace expert said. Satellite services are not always available due to the limited number of satellites and relatively fixed schedules of overhead passes. In time-sensitive missions, near-space drones can offset these disadvantages, the expert said, noting that satellite services could also be damaged in wartime, so near-space drones could replace them in this occasion.
The successful first flight of the Qimingxing-50 lays a solid foundation for the development of key technologies in the country's new energy field, the composite (复合的) material field, which will enhance China's ability to perform tasks in near space and over far oceans. AVIC will seize the opportunity to increase investment and speed up the development of large solar-powered unmanned aircraft.
(1)、What do we know about AVIC?A、It produced the world's largest unmanned plane. B、It started the trend of using solar batteries in aircraft. C、It developed China's first fully solar-powered drone. D、It greatly improved the speed of commercial airliners.(2)、What does paragraph 3 mainly tell us about Qimingxing 50?A、Its design features. B、Its diverse functions. C、Its operating procedures. D、Its environmental benefits(3)、What does the underlined word "offset" in paragraph 4 probably mean?A、Detect. B、Expose. C、Analyze. D、Remove.(4)、What will AVIC do in the future?A、Increase investment in the new energy industry. B、Accelerate the development of large solar drones. C、Create a new composite material to manufacture aircraft. D、Make Qimingxing-50 conduct long-time tasks over far seas. -

Pleasanton Partnerships in Education Foundation (PPIE) was started in 1987 to raise money by organizing running events for local schools. Based in Pleasanton, California, a suburb of San Francisco, the non-profit organization recently hosted a family-focused fitness event for the community. "Our event helps to bring the community together," said Mindy Louie, events and outreach manager for PPIE. "We have more than 3,000 participants, hard-working volunteers and viewers."
This year's fitness event took place on April 30 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. It featured races of two miles, five kilometers and ten kilometers. A new Kids Challenge consisted of a quarter-mile run to encourage younger children to participate. When asked to describe the run, 11-year-old Jeremy Louie said, "Fun, exciting and enjoyable." Jeremy added that he was happy to help support his school.
PPIE supports all 15 schools in the Pleasanton Unified School District, which include more than 14, 500 students and 800 teachers and staff. The nonprofit organization tries to fund programs affected by budget cuts, while encouraging fitness and athleticism. To date, the PPIE has raised over $1 million for the school district.
A local runners' group called the BURN Youth Development (B. Y. D.) participated in the fundraising. The B.Y.D. has since grown to more than 100 youth members, 30 of whom ran in April's PPIE event. Jerry Wu, the group's founder and lead coach, explained that the B.Y.D. was born to keep kids running. "Watching them running strongly and happily makes me smile every time," Jerry said.
Jerry encourages teamwork and teaches the students valuable running techniques. As a B.Y.D. member, Ollie Gu, an eighth grader, was one of the top finishers in the ten-kilometer run. He completed the race in 40 minutes and 46 seconds and won first place in the 12-to-15 year-old age group. "The race was extremely rewarding," Ollie said. "I'm looking forward to it next year."
